| One guy red carded for an forearm to the face and the other runs in from miles away and punches to the head.
If these guys do not get banned then friday could be a bloodbath. If the RFL imply that raised forearm/elbow and throwing punches is okay it sends a very strange signal to all clubs.

| They'll probably get away with it as its Wigan we are talking about and the golden child of super league Sam Tomkins.

| There's a fair chance both will be banned for Friday IMO. The Hull lads may also be in some strife.
Will be interesting to see what goes down at tonights disciplinary.

| The last thing I want is an excuse for people to say Wigan were weakened because of the loss of these two IF we manage to overcome them.
Also I hope that we will be honourable and accept the RFL final ruling after appeals and if these lads play, they play. From what I can gather Sam was the victim of a fair few high shots throughout the game and therefore had reason to pile in so may have a viable defence.

Not sure saying,
The ref was rubbish and he did not protect me so i took the law into my own hands will go down to well.
Interesting reading the comments on the Wigan site about how terrible it is that big opponents are targetting their small playmakers ( Sam). Yet one of them has an avatar which has a picture of O 'loughlin assaulting Robbo from a early last season. The one which led NB to say if refs dont defend playmakers then he will order his enforcers to do it. Is that the reason Brown bought O'Donnell

I hope you're not thinking of a career as a solicitor!
Maybe more on the lines of "Bearing in mind the continuous provocation which are seen in the high number of penalties awarded to him, when his brother was surrounded by 7 or 8 Hull players Sam lost his composure and joined the affray with several other unidentified players. Sam was neither the instigator nor the only person on the field to rush in and we feel he has been singled out simply because of his current high profile within the game".

| If Sam punched the player from behind, as some have alleged, then that could be what gets him into grief.

My thoughts exactly. I want Wigan to bring their strongest team to the Galpharm, so if we do win there can be no moaning about a weakened team from the pie-eaters.
I haven't actually seen the incident so I can't say if they deserve a banning or not tbh.

| Joel Tomkins is likely to get a 1 match ban and deservedly so, but i hope Sam gets away with a ban and then plays on Friday night and tries his little party trick of holding down the player on Mason or O'Donnell, which should result in him getting his face drilled into the pitch!! and about time.

Any chance you can e-mail that to the RFL please?

I disagree, if you get banned you get banned for a reason and is part and parcel of RL. Its a squad game nowadays and if they do get banned and we go on to beat them it shows our strength in depth is better than theirs. You've got to cope with injuries and suspensions throughout the season and will come to every club its just how you cope with it which seperates the men from the boys!!!!
I'd like them both banned as it sends out a message that the rfl will not tolerate such behaviour.

| What ever happens at the disciplinary this evening, Wigan won't be fielding their strongest line up come Friday
We'll be without are best prop in Fielden and are best three quarter in Richards. Plus Finch, Deacon, Gleeson and possibly Roberts. That's not excuses but facts.
Either way whoever we've got out I'm pretty confident there isn't going to be more than two scores between the sides come the final hooter.

| Sam T was the subject of high shots from the first Hull kick on the sixth which he fielded.
Joel will get banned as will Yeaman I suspect.
Just to be clear, there were two brawls both involving Joel T and Yeaman. At the first Sam T came running in and puching, the 2nd he didn't.
Ganson should have binned Joel T and Yeaman after the first brawl.
He didn't, 5 secs later a 2nd brawl between the two players this time with Fitzgibbon punching away. No mention of him at all?
Manu was warned twice about head high tackles and put on report, how he's not been citied is curious.
The whole match was handled badly by Ganson. He should have done something to stop the head high shots which were going in from just a few minutes into the game.
Radford is also cited for a head high shot on Tommy Leuluai.
You might call it the warm up act for when they come to Hudds.
What Hull did is nothing compared to what Hudds do to teams.
