| yep will be there!
huddersfield born and bred, been very loyal too as he could have gone to the nrl.
still got years left in him, hope he comes back from his knee op asap as we need him.
the one stand open which has been the case a few times now for pre season games, would expect to see roche and walne make their debuts along with some more senior players
1-2k id say be there hopefully nearer the 2k

| There's no reason there shouldn't be 3000+ for this going by how many fans have stated they can only make Sunday games, £15 isn't much to give for a bloke who is a Huddersfield lad and has given his entire career to this club!!
Make an effort and say thanks to Leroy !!

| 2,300 i think but i would imagine a few more would come out to support a homegrown player, and our captain to boot.

| freezing today!!!
thought o'brien and roberts were the better performers for the giants today
brough played a good stint 65-70mins
rankin went off at half time but think it was just precaution
love watching jared simpson play, his running it great
1500 turnout for leroy to say disappointed is an understatement

| Yes agree a VERY disappointing turnout for one of our own and our captain!
However the club made a poor choice of club to play. I reckon a SL club or ex SL club would have encouraged a few more to come down.
Lawrence played the full 80 minutes which is good to see!
Simpson looked lively, o brien ferguson and Ollie were solid and thought Matty English ran and tackled very strongly. Wasn’t convinced with the rankin brough partnership. I also thought that a few of them looked like they were carrying a bit of extra weight.
Darnell made some shocking errors today-certainly rusty- put on plenty of weight too! Farrell did well in patches but looked like he was trying too hard which seems to be the case when he gets a chance in the squad- I’ve seen him play for the U19s many times looking much more accomplished. Roche and walne didn’t stand out.
You can’t geT much of an idea for how the team will go in this kind of game as there were far too many changes.

we did have a Super league club lined up but they let us down, Bruno was spelled a couple of times i think, definitely once as he was warming up in front of us.
I was hugely disappointed that for a guy who has given his entire career to his hometown club, of which he's club captain only 1,500 rugby league fans in this town chose to turn up to a game that cost £15 to get in!!!!
Saying that i thought it was a pretty decent game for a 1st friendly game - some huge positives from it, Sam Wood, Adam O'Brien, Ollie Roberts, Matty English had good games and looked eager, Murphy showed he will still be a good squad player, thought Roche showed some hunger and with a bit of work and patience could be a decent signing for us, and a lot of our academy lads also showed there's some great young talent at this club.

| I though O Brien, Brough, Roberts, Clough played well and Brough Rankin needs work but has potential.
My worries are Danial Smith and Ormsby proved they are not up to first team standard and as with each season I hope to see the beast that should be Michael Lawrence but if you can’t terrorise Dewsbury ?????
How anyone ever saw such a long contract in Smith beggars belief I know it’s only a first hit up so looking forward to seeing better at Belle Vue next week.......
Still think we will have a half decent season if we can keep the top guys on the field...

| No marketing poor opposition , the day summed up the club , lack of ambition etc not good enough for our captain and international but within the remit of the expectations of all concerned

I thought Smith played well. Although I don't think he is good enough on what I have seen before Ormsby was probably our best player today and although he wasn't tested in defence ran really well with ball in hand.
