The shirtgate affair has provided a fantastic post match bonus.

So many morons have put their ignorance and stupidity on the record.

The posters from some clubs have created threads of several pages desperately slagging off the Giants - other clubs paid it little heed. Why are some so quick and keen to rubbish our club when they do not have the facts _ I think we know why.

And then the trolls coming on here and advertising their ill informed prejudices. Never letting the facts spoil their delusions. Wonderful stuff.

It was funny watching cas run out in the fax 2010 shirt, the subsequent posts of the dunces was icing on the cake.

The posters on this board need to take the trolling as a compliment.

In the past we were easy to laugh at or ignore. That is no longer the case we have made great strides off the field and maybe even bigger ones on the field.

They cannot ignore us and now will use every opportunity to laugh at us if we do something wrong.

Unfortunately the picked the wrong fight thios time.

However this site is open to fans of ALL clubs and we should treat them with respect even if this means challenging them when they come out with b@llocks.

The best way to deal with Trolls is humour, laugh at them and do not take it to seriously.

It is a real compliment to the GIants

I think a 22 point deduction and a points reinstatement to all clubs you've took points off.

6 point lead at the top of the table icon_biggrin.gifANCE:

I think you are right, since its Cas's fault that puts us 2 points clear at the top icon_wink.gif

In my opinion take anything with a pinch of salt. Sledging/taking the urine and any other comments are all part and parcel of the game we all love.

I personally don't think that I was trolling, I only commented when one of your lot made a snidy comment about the charity kit we wore for the Cas game, tbh I did say that it surely was Huddersfields fault, however I and many others were going off the kit directive that has suddenly changed! icon_lol.gif

Anyone know what 'technical' problem was that caused the original 15 min delay?Sky were vague, which makes me think it was down to them, plus I saw suited bod telling paul Anderson about delay way before shirtgate happened ?

Ps shirtgate was funny , and will be laughed about for ages. Many foreign posters taking it way too seriously.....

i think it just proves how stupid and pathetic a lot of people are on here.
too quick to want to shoot us down and let their bitterness shine through.
im laughing at all those people who screamed ITS HUDDERSFIELD'S fault, fine them, dock them points etc etc

In response to wire posters stating that we had gone aginst the rules and did not comply with official instructions, which clearly we did.

Yet it's our fault according to some of your clubs fans as we were the 'home' team and therefore automatically at fault because we have to wear the home kit, yet clearly that is not the case, we can't chnage kit unless we are officially sanctioned to do so, just like your club's team being sanctioned to wear an alternative kit.

Mrs run leroy run was asking If Halifax kit lady had not been around, would cas have been playing in skins...
Or I would have lent my shirt to a hudds player, and robbo could have worn my 8 year old lads one....

Which is fair enough, as I have said in a previous thread i don't care what huddersfield wear and I don't want to get into the 'my dads bigger than your dad' competition! I only posted in regard to the comment about the charity kit.

People only stated that it was Hudds fault after seeing the only bit of evidence that said that Huddersfield would be wearing their principle kit- which has now changed to alternative! icon_lol.gif

It's not because anybody is jealous or scared of your team or players!

This thread is just taking the light off a great win yesterday from a class side!

Shirtgate was not funny but rather it was a farce. However it was not a farce for the reason that Castleford ended up wearing Halifax shirts. Full marks to the Cas supporters for seeing the humour in that and starting a chant for Halifax! All the talk about principal and secondary kits misses a very basic point and that is that neither Huddersfield nor Castleford need a secondary kit at all. Both of them could play all of their matches this season with just one set of kit. It is the existence of an unrequired secondary kit that is the farce. I notice that Huddersfield were down to use their secondary kit again at Wakefield this last Sunday. Why? In the earlier match between Castleford and Huddersfield earlier in the season, at Castleford, Castleford wore their so called secondary kit. Totally unnecessary.
The farce with secondary kits is that they exist purely for financial purposes and basically exploit the loyalty of supporters. I do not find anything funny in that.

I think you flatter your clubs importance in the same way you flatter yourself. I don't know what incident you are waffling on about and have no interest in finding out. Get over yourself.

Has anything official actually come put from this then? Or as usual will we be left for months without a word?
