Any further updates? Will Gaskell play again this season? Edwards back from suspension? We seem to have struggled badly again this year, or are we signing sicknotes.

I suspect even if fit neither will play. Watson has made it clear Edwards' attitude is wrong and playing Gaskell doesn't help us for next season.
Cunningham seems to have dropped off the end of the world. Again i suspect attitude given his refusal to go to Leigh.
AOB and Wardle were not expected back. be a bonus if they were.
At this point with top 6 not a possibility we have nothing to lose by freezing out those who dont buy in to what Watson expects, and building on those that do for next season.
I think its very telling that Sam Wood has continually made the team, whilst others have not. The culture is the thing that needed to change regardless of who was on the playing squad.

funny when I suggested exactly the same approach in respect of Sezer and Darnell earlier in the season you disagreed with me.

the clue is in the "earlier in the season"
i.e before they were injured then announced as leaving, and we were in a different position regarding the top 6.

No I made that point when we knew Sezer was leaving same with Darnell

Did you really sezer wasn’t confirmed leaving until after he was injured. Injured in June, confirmed going to Leeds in July. darnell injured in June confirmed to Hull august. Both players already confirmed out injured for the remainder of the season.
And of course you knew where we’d be at this point in the season regarding position.....
but if you can point me in the direction of where you said you knew they were leaving before they got injured and that they shouldn’t be played then do feel free to post the link to prove yourself right.

Whilst you have a chance at making the 6 you play your best players. if we didn’t play any player moving on we’d have played no one since April!
Watson clearly knows who’s likely to put in the effort when moving on and who isn’t. Funny how there are SOME moving on next year still being played whilst others are not.
Signings are done and dusted - don’t get too excited. There’s nothing to get giddy over.
Oh and Johnny- nice of you to pipe up- yes I like a good argument/ it’s good sport. Love to wind people up and I’m good at it too. sorry I took so long replying but I was too busy laughing at durhams posts on Brexit- now there’s one that likes arguing even more than I do.
