Webster's sin binning was baffling. The Huddersfield player was still moving forward and the ball carrying arm had clearly not made contact with the ground. It wasn't even a penalty, never mind a sin-binning.
He also had a clear view of Brough's attempt to end Millington's career, but decided such an cannonball was only worth a yellow.

Monaghans pass was not forward. Look at all the angles.

Ben Thaler did not cost you the match. Danny Brough did. End of.

Those decisions, whether right or wrong, don't lose matches.

Brough deciding to kick a drop goal with 25 mins to go, and then go for goal, when you've got a tired team on the ropes, is what lost you that match. You had so many chances to push for a try but just didn't go for it.

I agree with that regarding Brough - hes been a good player for us for years but hes had it now his head has utterly gone. Cannot keep his cool - id be happy with him leaving with immediate effect.

Fully understand why you aint happy with Thaler. Thing is....even if you got them calls, could you have done enough to win that game?? Before blaming Thaler you need to try and work out why you didnt score in the second half even though you were camped in our 30 for most of it.... If Broughy didnt throw his dummy out you would have probably held on for the win too??
Thaler was poor but Huddersfields attack wasnt much better in our 20. in the other 80metres you looked half decent.

Moment of madness from Brough there and a little unlucky with the ref but not unhappy with that, We had enough pressure on their line to win it but we need to get better.

Mamo looked good as did most of the youngsters, They have brought some energy to the table. Fancy our chances at Newcastle if we keep going like that, Bit better game management and we would have won that.

Good player is Brough but he lost you that game today.

When did Cas fans become so arrogant and condescending?

Lawrence, Cudjoe, McGillvery, Symmonds, Gaskell and Ta'ai all missing for Giants, but only Cas absentees considered.

This season the Giants are not great, but they are not the worst team in Super League. With perhaps four of the above back soon there are encouraging signs. I think it unlikely we are relegated, there are at least a couple of more likely candidates.

I think it helped that both teams played really disciplined. Yeah, cas got a couple of 50-50 calls. But so did giants... Let's not blame Thaler for the loss. We should have won that game.

It's gone now and I think we can all feel confident for the rest of the season now, this looks like a completely different team to the one we have watched for the majority of the season.
