Yes isn't it funny they waited until Clough received his last pay check to announce the signing....

No they waited until it became clear they couldn't offload him to anyone else.
Why haven't you announced Ferguson and the invisible man yet?
Keep biting jools because that is a crap signing for a team trying to improve on finishing rock bottom.

| I'd have rather kept Johnson, who I would imagine we offered less.
At the end of the day if he is strong, aggressive and solid in defence he will be ok. Just think we are a bit lightweight up front, no real size (hubys belly aside)

Not a signing to get excited about, but most will give him a chance. We did not though finish Rock bottom, we were bottom at the split but stayed up. I think Hull were top at the split and Wire were top at the end of the Super 8s, but Wigan are Super League champions - the "finish" is at the end of the season.
We all want to do better next season, but if we have an identical season we will still be in Super League the year after. Same as Wakey the year before, however much anyone moans its not fair - it absolutely is, those are the rules.

| Clough with around 180 sl games exoeraincd, at 29 the prime age for props and 6 foot 100kg I am willing to give him a shot!
As for us having size issues up front
Huby 6,2 108kg. Nathan 6,6 111kg. Seb 6,0 107kg, Dan smith 107kg, rapira 6,1 110kg
Then taai and Ollie not exactly little men
As a comparison I took some big men.....
Frank the tank 6,2 112. Chris hill 6,3 107. Alex walmsley 6,5 115.
Not far in difference! Simply believe that commitment, aggression and fitness will be thing we need this year. And with the new conditioner in I am hopefull we achieve this!

Yeah you finished rock bottom and qualified for superleague through the middle 8's when everyone included started again at 0.
Whichever way you look at it Bradford finished 5th in the championship. If you keep signing the players that got them there you'd end up there too.

Do you not think there is a big correlation between bradford finishing 5th and Gaskell being Injured
Biggest one is that he was the best player in the championship in 2015 and carried your team.
Invisible man....Know what went on in the background before commenting. Bradford are a joke club regarding welfare

| Good signing. He's at a good age and has plenty of experience. Perfect for our desire to regain the super 8's.
Playing in the championship for the last 2 years means nothing. Players play to the intensity of the competition they're in.
I can't wait to see him in the C&G

Are you his mum?
He got taken out by a cheap shot from Matt Groat that saw him miss the end of the season. Then on his return had a terrible collision with the post against Wakefield saw him miss the middle 8's. We made it to the MPG with a win against Leigh with a half back pairing of Addy and Purtell. He clearly didn't carry us.
Last season he was the invisibile man. As for player welfare - signing players then doing your level best to offload them before they've even had one training season. That is the pits!

| well clough is part of the anderson era but will add competition for places for next season in the pack, getting clough and having smith back its like having two new props!
thewlis says clough is in the jackson mould, we have missed that type of player for sure, willing to do the hard yards.
hes 29 so coming into his prime for a prop, played many games for st helens and won two challenge cups!
welcome clough, expect ferguson and gaskell next and we are finally getting a squad to cater for injuries which will happen!

If you've got those three in your squad injuries will definitely happen.
