| I haven't posted regularly on here for weeks now, most people know why, and i don't intend to stick around and get labelled and questioned again either.
Just a quick question, despite the seemingly abrupt and shocking turnaround in form, which a lot of people who tried to remain positive and see the bigger picture said was only round the corner, despite being shouted down and called out , should Anderson still be sacked along with the other coaches, conditioners, CEO, etc?
I don't want this to become another tit for tat , just want to know if people who were so desperate for PA to be shown the door still feel the same or whether you stick to what was obvious a few weeks back?
yes we are still in a poor position in the league, but we have played well now for 4/5 games, whose fault is this?
I'm sure most of us agree that it's still a great feeling to beat Leeds!!

| Keep the faith. Still half full. It can only get better.
Run out of clichés.
Anderson goes - who replaces him!?

| Yes, he still needs to go. Not merely for this seasons performances but because I believe that he doesn't have what it takes to take us to the level where we'll be truly able to compete for honours and not choke at the final hurdle(s).
I have the utmost respect for him as a former player but feel that he doesn't have the tactical brain to win games, inspire or motivate the players.
Baloo inherited a decent team and managed some success on the back of that but just about any coach could have done that, I mean, if me and the wife died tomorrow and left the car to our 6 year old granddaughter then it wouldn't mean that she'd be able to drive it!!!
He is too eager to chop and change the squad, playing folk out of position to the point that squad cohesion is chaotic.
I thank him for giving it a go but feel that we need someone with more experience and a proven track record. As far as this season goes we are pretty much nailed on for the middle 8s so there's no harm in allowing Baloo to finish it.
As far as a new coach goes, well were it possible then I'd have loved to see Tony Smith back at the JS or as a real wildcard (and contrary to my prior rantings regarding experience) Jamie Jones Buchannon, the bloke has passion and by Eckington he inspires me just listening to him!!!

| I respect your honesty, but regards to cohesion etc, do you not think that is/was down to injuries? we had 6 different full backs and 5 different HB pairings, mainly through injury, we are now seeing a more stable, settled side and we are looking a decent side.
brierley looking good at full back and he's only going to get better!

I still have my issues with this seasons goings on light squad etc and view it as a lost opportunity to have had a real go in league and cup and finally win a 'big one.'
But as of this moment and there is a lot of season left performances have improved and on balance we should carry on with PA however the true judgement of him and the club should be that this seasons mistakes are not repeated and the lessons we have learned are taken on board.

| Imo it's still to early to tell. We have picked up a couple of wins bt none have been convincing other than the wire game imo. We still have discipline problems and too many handling errors.
It feels much better winning, but as many were saying not to panic when we had lost the first few, let's not think we are back to our best when we have won a couple against the current worst team in the comp.

So we win two games on the bounce against the bottom team in SL. And you feel that is enough for you .
Does that mean if we lose the next two games you will be calling for Anderson out ? Just using your logic.
That is the problem in not looking at the big picture which you claim to be doing.
Despite me constantly asking you keep ignoring one simple question.
Who was responsible for the teams make up this year and do you think they should be accountable ?
( who kept Robbo when he had discussed retiring before the season, went into the season with a paperweight squad brought back Patrick who did not want to be here let other established players go)

| I am still of the same opinion that they should have got rid of him at the end of last year after another appalling play off campaign. Unless we win the challenge cup this year (the only thing we can now win) he has underachieved with the squad he has had over the last few years. Anderson has been unable to get us to win the big games, sometimes embarrassingly failing when the tempo has been upped near the end of a campaign, so nothing that is achieved at this stage of the season would change my mind.

| Other questions could be asked about the performances of players under Anderson have they been good enough Broughton huby Bailey they all seem worse than when they came here .
Are we exciting to watch?
Why do we still seem to be poor at basic skills ?
Why do we still seem to lack discipline and give away stupid penalties ? ( tif getting rid of ferries has helped on that score thanks for being our 14th man in the last two games Brett> once a Giant always aGiant )
Have we managed to address our failings in the big games ?
All are still pertinent issues which two wins against the worst Leeds team I have seen in years do not answer

| You forgot that appalling win against the league leaders when we nilled them. I wonder why?
Robbo did not discuss about retiring when the side was being put together for this season.
I honestly don't know why some people bother watching [it's obvious that some posters don't].
Might come back in another 2 months to read more dirge.

There needs to be significant changes in the way the club is run.
There needs to be significant changes in the mentality of the club.
There have been a number of on and off field decisions in recent years which range from poor to mind-bogglingly appalling.
There seems to be no accountability at the club.
Someone is responsible for us choking in the playoffs, someone is accountable for some hideous recruitment and retention decisions in recent years.
Someone is responsible for the Mason saga. Someone is responsible for the toe-curling sub-PMRC moral righteousnousness of the clubs statement in the wake of that verdict.
Someone is responsible for the club not kicking on affter the LLS win. Someone is responsible for the falling attendances.
Someone is responsible for the club keeping at least 3 players during the offseason who have subsequently left the club part way through the following season when all three could have left and been replaced.
There is no vision at the club, no ambition, no drive or at least that is the perception.
There are issues ingrained in the fabric of the club that should be obvious to anyone with two eyes. Treating 3 wins as a sign that all is well is as puerile as treating 3 losses as a sign of the apocalypse.
People do support the club, most people on here have supported it for a long time. They care about it. That's why they want changes.
There seems to be a mentality that cos we were poor 30 years ago we have to treat any small success as a major triumph. We have been a top 5 side for too long to hide behind our past any more. Beating Leeds should be routine, not an amazing thing or we're back in the land of issuing a cheap looking t-shirt cos we managed to beat Bradford again. It's no better or worse than any other team. Had we beaten London Skolars last night we would be in the same position we are now.
If not we may as well drop to the Championships and be a big fish in a little pond.

That is a very good and responsible post, they are your opinions, and happen to coincide with mine, Many won't agree with them, that's fair enough, But to some they are Dirge, pure and simple. These are the ones who always have to be right about everything, and can stand no criticism of the club in any form or they take their ball home, Rather defeats the object of the forum and could account for the low number of posters on here.
