What's acceptable and what's not ??

Whilst we would all like a win its a long shot tonight as on paper Wire are stronger especially in the pack.

I would like to see a committed performance along with some proper game management and stop this magic play scenario as if we invite Warrington on in our own half they will score.

Having read Chris Roberts piece in the examiner on physchology it has some merit but we desperately need a leader Brough back to captain for me letting him talk to the ref is the lesser of two evils.

If we are 'hell bent ' on playing Kyle Wood assuming he doesn't get injured before or during the game then I would play him hooker and Hinchcliffe at 13 and Sam Wood back at centre Murphy on the wing and leave the rest of the backs the same at least they have played together and we need some consistency for anything to click.

The forwards to me are the problem and despite the bashing Ferres and Robinson have taken on here we do miss them and only now he has gone is it obvious what Robbo really did at either scrum half or hooker. Watching Ferres at Leeds I think he misses us as we suited his game at wide left.

The pack need to front up big style as with Chris Hill, Ashton Simms, Ben Curry and Ben Westwood we just can't lose the ruck as in recent weeks as Wire muller teams if they get on the front foot for long periods.

I would like to see aggression, a controlled ruck area and some ball retention in fact 'dull would be good' if it's effective.

It's time for the youngsters to stand up and be counted tonight, I keep hearing Josh Johnson is Super League standard without seeing it and Mason and Roberts are works in progress it's a test for Andersons thin squad tonight a very severe one.

It's also a big test for our coach tonight on what he has put in place.

My thoughts are if it's a good performance and valiant loss it's progress, a win would be sensational, but a tame loss or a big mullering and all the same old mistakes then the fans will talk with their feet as it's very disheartening watching the current rubbish particulary the self destructive tendencies with no seeming plan in sight to fix it.

The biggest turn off for me tonight would be a poor performance followed by Andersons usual platitudes which are getting rather boring.

Expectations for tonight? The win, don't care if its ugly, just 2 points. Lets get behind them.

We do more often than not seem to play better against the better sides, A good fight will do just now.

Wire by 4 scores is what i expect.

lineham is more interested in showboating scoring tries than defending them, even at hull he was the same, has the turning speed of the titanic, if i was brough id be pinpointing him, keep turning him around and he'll be knackered

Historically, this is the kind of 'we are expected to get thumped', 'we have nothing to lose' kind of game that we are good getting ourselves up for. What we are incapable of dealing with is pressure games where we are up against well matched opposition. I would expect us to put in a good performance, as we need underdog mentality to do well. Anderson has not been able to change this 'small club' mentality, which is why we always fail in the big games.

The weather will play into wires hands with their big aggressive forwards - it's supposed to throw it down so it's not going to be a fast passing game. I expect loss just hope for a decent performance

After seeing you play us last week no way are you a bottom 4 team, but to nil the league leaders, cricket, excellent result.
