| How are the teams injury worries for Friday? Looking like the battle of injuries for both sides. We still have Briscoe, McGuire, Faloon, JJB, Ablett, Ward, Garbutt, Golding out through suspension and injuries.
Should be a cracker for Sky to though as always.

| We have Crabtree, huby, Ellis, wood, brough, Grix, Simpson, Wardle, Wardle and (Robinson,) out.
We have 0 half backs, and 0 fullbacks-Murphy ain't a fullback.
I also can't see us crossing the whitewash.
It will be a dire game, at a dire ground and will probably p;ss it down to rub salt in.
Can't wait.....

| I'm expecting handfuls of tries from both sides. It's Leeds vs Giants for one. Both teams looking to win their first game for two.
It'll be a heated affair. The skill won't be as good as it would with two full strength sides but it's going to be a war.
As for the result... Leeds showing at Catalan compared to ours at home to Widnes, plus Leeds home advantage I'm expecting Leeds to win by a reasonable margin in the end.

heated affair? whos going to get some biff going for the giants!? certainly not patrick.
anything other than a leeds win will be a shock
no shock to see crabtree return and maybe one of the others that are crocked..wood/brough will have to wait till the squads are announced
or save them and bring them back for game week after and hope we win that!

Heated affair doesn't necessarily mean giving the biff. There will be more frustrated and dedicated players on the pitch for both sides than not on Friday.
I expect a lot of emotion will go into carries and tackles from a large number of our players and theirs. (Including Larne Patrick).
I won't be surprised if we see a couple of scraps or some sin binning.
It will be heated... Full team or not they're still in it to win it.

| I have absolutely no idea how it could go, it could be an absolute classic, with both teams, with players to prove giving it everything, or it could be that lack of top class players could mean errors and bad decision making could make it exciting stuff.
on the other hand, it could be both teams are trying not to make mistakes and give the other an advantage and it becomes a bit of a slugfest!

Nope just a typical Leeds Giants game.
Ferres is history and couldn't care less how we approach him.
We have bigger reasons to win Leeds.
Only the sky team will probably hype the Ferres thing up.

| Great news. I hope he's not back too soon and it isn't a desperate return.
Last thing we need is for his injury to be made worse.
Our injury crisis is horrific at the moment and doubting a Brough return will win us this game if we was to turn up like we did last week.
Win lose or draw. If we turn up like we did against Wigan I'll be happy.

| can't see anything other than another trouncing unfortunately, but with the disruptions we've had we are just gonna have to suck it up and accept that we are going to take a few hits until we get our main men back.
But, as long as i see effort and willingness, even in defeat i will be content, i know some posters on here don't take that attitude, but i try and take some positives from every game and every situation.
if we win, i will be over the (Joel) moon!

| Another thing i was discussing with a mate the other day, as which of our guys is going to have "first dibs" on Ferres and is it likely to affect our concentration levels?
Will we ignore him or target him with some rough stuff, knowing his tendency to give penalties away when frustrated?
