Next up in the League is Leeds this thursday infront of the sky cameras

we have changed our line up abit in the last two games and it seems to have had the desired effect !

no new injuries from the hull fc game so would expect a similar line up again with ellis at hooker and wood at half back with brough, connor at centre and wardle in the 2nd row.

Leeds coming over on the back of a loss, hope we can make it two and get back to the winning ways we have become used too over Leeds!

I don't know why they let Stevie Ward hobble around when the game was already gone and only gave young prop Mulhern 5 mins. Will serve them right if he's out for 3 months+ Watkins will struggle for time to pass concussion protocol too. I don't think he'll be allowed to train.

McDermott's interchanges can sometimes be baffling.
Cool and wet forecast for Thursday evening - will that suit us or Leeds?
They have problems with their backline in terms of injuries so I think Jerry and Leroy could have a field day if they are on form.
I expect to see more or less the same team out as against Hull, perhaps Cox in if he's recovered from his illness.

It's the time of the season we need to be cementing a top 4 place and pushing the best teams in the league.
Last week I'd of took points over performance before the game. This week I want to see both and for a full 80 minutes.
Leeds are a champion team regardless of who's out injured for them so a victory would be a massive confidence boost.

Will be really good test of where we are at now against a very good Leeds team regardless of who they put out. Recent very good record against them will be under threat again - a win will boost confidence hugely.
Then again this is on Sky and we seem to struggle whenever the cameras are there. Time to put that record straight too?
I like the changes PA has made recently, and players showing some good form - particularly Leroy, Jerry, Joe, Ukuma, Huby and Murph.
We are unfancied generally and sky team will be spouting the Leeds out to put things right, Giants will have to play well to compete drivel. Win on Thurs and that could all change as we will have proved to be contenders and one team to watch.
COYG.

We should have beaten them at Headingly

Wonder if Aiton will go down like a shot dog this week
and I give it 15 mins till Leeds start the spoiling dirty play because they are struggling

robbo is a loss, but if Kruise comes in, i'm pretty sure he won't let us down.

no doubt it will be tough, but we've had the upper hand on them for a few years now, but they are in great form and seem bothered about the regular rounds this time for some reason.
i will settle for a scrappy game with fartown sneaking a win....

but it will be tough

Leeds will, or should bring a couple of thousand at least so hopefully we can respond and back the boys to another victory over them.

going by the squad, i would keep the same 17 with Leeming in for Robbo.

question is would he be brave enough to start Kruise and leave Ellis on the bench or would you rather see Ellis start and leeming on the bench?

I think Kruise could be an asset to us on Thursday by coming off the bench against Leeds' slow and ageing forwards, don't think i'd risk him from the start though as it's been a while since he played Super League.

Agree with Daz, when he came on against Cas last year he caused problems against the 'chubby' team the tigers were.
