What a joke Mc Banana is. If we can`t beat italy, the Aussies will be rolling about the floor laughing in their hotel tonight.
I am wanting England to do well, but with the coaches player selections I don`t think they will.
And in one way I hope the coach fails and gets the sack.
He was supposed to be picking players on form, not on reputation. So he picks a total of 3 from the top 2 clubs :- Huddersfield & Warrington, but 12 from Wigan & Leeds who finished 3 & 4 in the League.

It certainly was Wadski, and I for one want England to do well, so its difficult to see them lose to the second lowest ranked team in the World Cup.

bit of a shocker that result! bookies were giving italy a 54 point start!

glad this happened yesterday though and not next week against the aussies, will give them a big wake up call.

cant read too much into the result with unlimited interchanges but still a big shock.

Well done to broughy and Scotland on there win!!

Thought they lost to PNG although by all accounts Broughy played well and Scotland looked good when he had the ball in hand. They were dominated in the forwards though.

PNG aren't Italy, second lowest ranked team, and Scotland aren't the 3rd ranked team, so hardly comparable, Brough played well in the 20 mins run out he was given

based on yesterdays game dont think many were international class... if you can even call that game an international with so many interchanges!

cudjoe seems to have one bad game and now hes slated...expect it though really.

leroy will definately be to blame as the giants players are bottlers, absolutely nailed on it will be the case, no mention by wigan fan of charnleys knock on to win the game for italy though theres a shock. Personally i hope he does leave leroy out against the aussies and pick ablett and watkins at centre so they can cop all the flak when the aussies smash through the centres. Note to macca pick the best players not your mates or past reputations and then we may have a chance, still going to cardiff hoping for a win but not expecting it at all.
