| Brough, Peacock, Tomkins, Ferres and Kirmond.
Two Giants players in there.
I would guess it will be between Brough and Peacock with Kirmond being an outside chance
I would go for Brough but could not complain if Peacock or Kirmond won it.
Ferres has been good but not as influential as Brough and Tomkins has missed too many games and not risen to his high standards of last season.

| Tomkins shouldn't be there due to the amount of games missed but to be fair to him before that he was sensational and in career best form (and that's pretty special). He went on a run earlier in the season where he scored an absolute panful of try's in about 11 or 12 games that broke records at Wigan.
It needs to be judged on a full seasons worth of consistant performances though so Brough or Peacock must win it.

| Would have put Lunt in there rather than ferres just comparing the two. Think peacock will win as his England buddies will vote for him. Reckon giants lot could well vote for kirmo!

Not sure the rest of the game showed him in his best light but hopefully 2 more weeks to impress before the announcement (though I guess it has already been decided or at least will be done very shortly).

| Danny Brough hands down MOS, clear winner, the best British player by a country mile, and any other person winning is a joke, and that includes Peacock. DB is the main reason you lot finished top, even though you have a great team, he is sensational, and well deserving winner IMHO.

agreed, peacock seems to have suddenly come into the reckoning big time but still think brough should get it off the back of a great season and lifting the lls

| Think it's tonight isn't it, the winner gets announced, fingers crossed for our Danny Brough tonight.
Also Coach of the Season, think Baloo has got to be a shoe in.

Whats that coming over the hill .........: |
|
| Wow my login still works.
Was just wondering what other awards they are going to think up of??? Find it funny that they give Kevin Sinfield the Rhino Top Gun for best goal kicker award when he was not, as its only his average thats better, not the number of kicks he has converted. Does that mean if someone takes one kick next season and converts it and then does not take another kick all season he would win it as he has the best average 100%?? I think not, wish they would get things right. No doubt someone will come on here correcting me, but to me the player with the most goals scored should win it.

No they had to have taken at least 50 kicks at goal but most points makes sense as there was one for most tries.
