I am increasingly concerned with the appointment. I am prepared to give him a go at the start of next season, but the recent surrenders leaves me with little hope. I hope he has a good clear out of players but doubt this will be possible. He seems 'disgusted' with performances but I haven't seen much change in following games.

I tend to agree, hardly a great start in charge and hasn't managed to get much of a response following the annual mid season slump so what's going to change next season one wonders.

Apart from the catalans game we have seen no response from the players, who are now seemingly not bothered anymore.
I dont want to be negative but surely after so many weeks in charge we should have seen a response, i have an idea,if certain players dont want to do what they are told then drop them,as he said he would,give some fringe players a go next week so what if we get tonked who actually cares anymore?

for me we are starting games off ok then its almost like someone gives a call and they just stop !

I'm sure PA is as frustrated as we are and needs to be judged on his own signings and squad etc, this lot are shot,on holiday, dis-interested, this season is over bar another couple of pastings so Baloo has the winter to work and then can be judged - hopefully he will start by getting rid of the lazy, idle, workshy excuses i've been watching for the past few weeks !!

he will have his work cut out over the pre season with signings and getting it right but lets see!

I think we could do better, but the decision has been made and he needs to be given a chance. I hope im wrong but I cant see him being here this time next year.

He has through no fault of his own.

Better coaches - there is the usual Aussie assistants (Mcguire did alright)

Darryl Powell, Karl Harrison, Mick Potter.

And some aussie asisstants have been a disaster. So which ones are you suggesting? Have they stated an interest to come to the UK? What criteria have you applied to say they are better than baloo?

Powell and harrison are where they should be. Potter is a fine coach who was unavaialble when Baloo was appointed.

Anderson can't be judged on the back end of this season alone

Darryl Powell is where he should be is he? Im sure he took a mediocre Leeds team to a grand final.

I think he deserves another shot at super league.

I know Potter wasnt available at the time, but then again not a lot of coaches would have been available to hang around for a year at the time of appointing Baloo.

So we should have got rid of NB straight away when he indicated he would be going at the end of the year OR waited until the end of the season when he should have gone and taken it from there. Potter would have been available then.

I hope he has a good pre season, does what he needs to and brings us some silverware next year. However please forgive me if I don't hold my breath waiting.

You are wrong about Powell. He had the brillaint generation of Leeds players at his disposal. never took them to a GF. Did lose a CC Final. Replaced by Smith for 2004 and Leeds then won a GF.

earlier you wanted me to reply to ALL your post. I asked some specific questions about aussies assistant coaches. Are youn able to answer?

Exactly, he has to be give at least a full pre-season and possibly a quarter of next season to get HIS team in and doing things HIS way, lets not forget he hasn't been able to make any personel changes yet so is stuck with the same bunch of misfiring misfits* NB left us with.

* = he turned them into misfits, not necessarily the players personally !!

Regarding Aussie assistants, there isnt a list. You have to do your homework and then approach them surely.

So when you wrote..'.there is the usual assie assistants' you actually had no idea who they are and therefore no idea if they are available or better than PA.

Once again you show yourself to be utterly clueless.
