| ok first post on here, so go easy.
What would be your selection for the Wakefield game next weekend? Will Anderson shake things up a bit? My team would be as follows:-
Full back:- Eden (or Murphy, but don't let Grix anywhere near it)
Backs:- McGillvary
Cudjoe
Lawrence (Wardle back in when fit)
George
S/O:- Brough (C)
S/Half:- Robinson
Front Row:- Mason
Lee
Fairbank (for his work rate in defence and the desire he showed in the semi alone)
Second row:- LOD (if fit)
Fa alogo
Loose:- Faiumu
Bench:-
Crabtree
Patrick
Moore (Lunt back for next year - Can we recall him earlier?)
Ferguson or Chan.
Anderson needs to get rid of the the following players for next year:- Brown (going), Grix, Gilmore (going), LOD (someone on his money needs to be playing every week) and Moore (has played well to be fair, but not needed if we can get Lunt back)
Recruitment:- Lunt back, another Prop in addition to Mullally, think someone on here has hinted at getting Brett Hodgson back (if he is available), i know he's getting on but could mentor Eden and be there to guide the team in big games. A class second rower if LOD was to go and an out and out centre, who will add class and experience to our young backs.
so not much then! oh and a loose forward who can slot into the halves if needed to cover injuries.

| Pretty much agree with that shame we can't ditch KB now and bring in a loan stand off to liven things up !!!
The interesting thing this week is whether LOD plays is it a bad injury or did he fall out with NB at Castleford where he was one of the few players who could hold up his head.
I suggested getting Brett back to mentor Eden and play in the big games he is out of contract and wants to keep playing but the gamble is a two year contract I believe !!!

| Never in a million years would I put eorl on the bench. With the minutes he's playing -and well he's a starter for me.

| I like eorl coming off the bench , plus that would mean with his long minutes he is playing against tired players especially in second half. Problem is that we have no other performing props at the moment so he has to start.
Off the bench he is one of the few players we have who can change a games momentum.

| For me, Sunday's team looks like:
Murphy
McGillvary Cudjoe Lawrence George
Brough Robinson
O'Donnell (if fit)
Fa'alogo Chan
Mason Moore Crabtree
Fairbank
Patrick
Walker
Lee
For me we need to keep Moore next year, with Lunt as the interchange hooker. Maybe keep Lee for cover in the halves?

Don't think I'd have 3 young forwards to bring on, probably mix it up a bit and start Walker and have Mason to bring on. Don't think 3 young lads would be as bigger impact. Watching Sundays performance, creativity is needed including leadership. An experienced half back is needed so broughy can do his own thing, whilst our experienced half back can lead the team round the park.

| I dont think we could go far wrong with the enthusiasm of Fairbank and Patrick. For me it's got to be time to drop Gilmour, he has struggled the last two seasons and Bruno can more than adequately fill the centre spot until Wardle returns (we have really missed Joe! his lines and breaks at the start of the year were second to none). Wouldnt mind seeing Molloy/Cording having a run out at some point if they are fit.
We need to get the team fighting for their place again and fighting for the top 8!

| Walker won't be playing he's out injured possibly for the season and is also OOC at the end of the season. Not agreed anything with the club yet and it's looking high unlikely that he will unless the club have a change of heart.

Think they are looking at bringing him in early, nothing confirmed yet though.

| will def be intresting to see what andersons team will be! will show prob where he disagreed with nathan brown and also point us to how he wants to go in the future..
is there going to be any news on o'donnell???????????? maybe he fell out with the players when the revolt happened and stuck up for nathan brown... or is it a season ending injury again
i dont think the team was far wrong on sunday apart from murphy moving to full back and dropping gilmore.
hard to pick a team when you dont have all the team fit...o'donnell and wardle would go straight into my team.
molloy is out for the season and looks like walker is too.
but without them id go
Murphy
George
Lawrence (though his tackling stats when in the second row are awesome, wardle back in when fit)
Cudjoe
Mcgillvary
Brough
Brown
Robinson
Ferguson
Chan
Crabtree
Mason
Faiumu
bench-
Fairbank
Patrick
Moore
Faalogo
could improve the team if players were fot i.e o'donnell and wardle but have to go without them for now
crabtree/mason to start us off in the pack with patrick/faalogo to keep the size when interchanging.
i still like kev brown, but could argue to put robinson in place of him and put faiumu at hooker interchanging with moore.
then if form drops or injuries we have the likes of lee, grix, gilmour and eden to come in (jeez just looking at those replacements its clear we lack a prop!)

| I'd put Eden at fullback
He is too good to drop I think, especially after the mare Grix had at 1, and the howler Murphy made - his attacking play is so much better than Murphy's
I like Murphy, but he is cover for Eden, George & Gerry - if they are fit they play ahead of him in my opinion.
Eden
George
Bruno
Leroy
Gerry
Brough
Luke
Crabtree
Moore
Mason
Fa'alogo
Chan
Fooey
Patrick
Fairbank
O'Donnel
Lee
Is my team for Sunday, and in all honesty that team can turn over anyone in the league.

I don't see how the howler Murphy made is any worse than the 2 or 3 we are guaranteed from Eden? Up until Sunday's game no one had a bad word to say against Murphy. I really like Eden and his attacking flair but at this moment in time we need to sure up our defence and from what I have seen this season Murphy is our best defensive choice at full back. Eden needs to work on his basics and cutting his error count down a little bit, then he will give the coach no choice.
