| Well what do we think of that then?
Perfect settings to reclaim outright top spot, Wigan missing 3 props, away, against a lively giants crowd and they can't seem to convert from anywhere if its wide of the posts.
Two inventive kicks early doors could have had us 12 nil up if they had come off.
A missed pass by George could have gotten us over for another.
Think we looked a little out of gas in defence in the last quarter.
But hey ho 2 points behind the leaders with an easier run of games coming up. Keep the faith, hopefully we will have all the little things that went against us tonight ie bounce of the ball will come off for us when it matters most the play offs and semi final! Up the fartown!

| Better team won . Fewer errors and stronger in defence. Score line was a fair reflection.
The chicken balti pie was nice tonight.
I did like the team huddle at end of the game. I think the team are well bonded.
A lot of injuries tonight though - jerry , robbo , larne , grix and chan too I think.

Tasty balti pie! Mmm! Wonder how long they last in the away stand? I agree good to see the team huddled at the end shows they are not disjointed! Let's hope the boys ain't to bad injury wise! Thankfully we have easier sides to face starting the salford lot!

| Was quite close until that dropped high ball and then Wigan ran away with it, thought we had too many off injured early on and Moore only playing 20 or so. Think the lads on the park were playing long minutes and that told in the end, the better team won.
I'm actually not too despondent as we bombed a few chances first half, and had we got those we could have won it.
1-1 so far in the head to head, so would have taken that, yes lost 2 points tonight but I think we'll be there or thereabouts come the business end of the season.

Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean
He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness
Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua
Of he who was made God in a world without Hope.
And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say?
Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say
"Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war": |

| When we conceded that try from the dropped ball it just seemed to deflate us. this season we've usually been quite good at responding to things like that but Wigan scented blood and took the game away. Even early doors though we didn't look quite right. The break which ended with Leroy passing into touch was a prime example.

| The Eden drop was the game turner. Up unti
Then it was fairly even.
A deserved Wigan win for me. Very few errors and Leului was spot on in the kicking department.
A nice run of games coming up now salford, Widnes and Hull KR. Six points is essential.

This is spot on! On a different day these chances would have been taken. The objective now is to create the chances and fine tune it so they come off come the play offs and semi final! Create the chances and you give yourselves a shot against anybody!
Another thing that shot by Lima, started ok but after initial collision seemed to explode his elbow out in a rather dangerous manner? Anybody else think it was a tad poor play? Although he did run up to him to after the final hooter, I assume to check fiaumu was ok.

Watch it on TV and you'll see it was a clash of heads.

Definite head clash. He hits him in the chest with his arm and he's clear of Lima when the elbow is up. I assumed that the replay wasn't clear at the game because of the booing he received but there really wasn't anything in it.

Shot? It's not often that the person being tackled gets described as a effecting a "shot", especially when it ends in a clash of heads from which either player could have been injured.

Replays have nothing to do with crowd reaction
Im more concerned that Thaler looked at the video screen for Sam high shot where Leroy and Jermaine clashed heads yet didnt give a penalty at the time but never went for that one, he seemed to pick his moments for a few decisions.

The Sam one was a clear high tackle and penalty to Wigan, the Lima one was an accidental head clash with nobody to blame. He got both decisions right. Also note that in both incidents Wigan players were the ball carriers which means Huddersfield players have the responsibility to safely effect the tackle.
