| Thought Benthams performance was a complete turnaround from 2 weeks ago, kept a skinny 10, completely ignored any laying on from both sides, stuck his whistle in the Panasonic end and made for a good game, Saints 1st half were on top and we dominated 2nd half, for Saints id be worried bout their halves, they never release the runners and they use the 4 every opportunity, too much imo.
Overall a good performance though id play Murphy next week and not Eden.

| I thought we were on top for most of the game really, first half we didnt deserve to be 4-12 down
Eden made some big errors, but also linked well for George's first try.
Cudjoe was immense today in defence and attack I thought
Brough ran the show with superb help from Brown and Grix and Robbo

| No probs with Saints leading at HT Ant, they had most of the field position, 1st try 2nd half was huge for us.
SL Full time is on at 10, be interesting to see the Saints try on the dead ball line and our winner.

| Agree with the above. Would also add..
Joe Wardle was going great before he got sparked. Walker was v good. Everyone will talk of Luke George's hat trick but his defence was exceptional today. He only got pushed out of play as he had to take a daft pass too.
Robbo brilliant.
All in all, solid team display.

I couldn't disagree more tbh, I'd like to see the statistics from the match as it felt like we had far more ball and territory than you did.
The difference between the two sides IMO was the fact that you were clinical and we weren't. We had ample opportunity to post points yet we made far too many errors; possibly down to the fact that our halves aren't experienced enough.
Fair play though you took your chances and the try from Gaskell's poor kick was a great try!
Seems Brough's conversion that hit every possible post got you the two points

| I thought it was a tightgame and could have gone either way.
Sts short kicking game was good but long was poor.
Giants made a number of errors giving Sts good field position but then their defence was outstanding.
I thought from where i was sitting that all three sts trys were dubious(two dropped balls and a ball over the line). I had two Giants trys borderline also.
Really pleasing that the Giants killed the game really well in the last five minutes.
Absolutely great team performance and great mental toughness.

| That was a game we would have lost just a couple of seasons ago, credit to the boys for sticking at it for the full 80 mins today, just how good was that last try?

| i thought Saints were the better team today .....i thought the amount of ball we gave away, especially near halway was going to hammer us but we showed tremendous spirit to bounce back and nick it............love games like that, no good for anyone's heart let alone mine !!

| I don't think saints were particularly the best side. Meither were at their best. Their forwards made more yards than ours but their outside backs -well did they have any cause they did nothing. They spilled the ball every other set -much down to big hard hits from our lads. Their try's came because they capitalised on our errors. They were better in the first half we were better in the second. In what way did you think they deserved the win Daz?

| i didnt say they deserved the win - we did for plugging away - i just thought they held the ball and controlled it better when they had it than we did, we dropped lots of ball and threw lots of silly needless passes, but we got the win despite this which shows the spirit we have these days.

| saints had more of the ball than we did. especially in the frist half we had to defend our line alot but once again our good defensive structure has won us another game. it was a scrappy game at times which i think the weather had some part with it being wet n cold but we managed to win another game where we didnt play i would say near our best against a saints side which defence had improved.
i also think the turning point was the injury to roby, he was driving them down the field at speed once lance came in they wasnt as fast and also lacked a spark which their young half back pairing struggled with.
but i would have ripped anyones hand off if they said first 5 games which include saints, wigan and warrington to have 4 wins and a narrow loss with the injuries we started with and they we have played in certain games specially london

| I thought overall we deserved the points, Saints had the better of the 1st half but we shaded the 2nd. I thought our defence near our line was immense and Saints ran out of ideas in the quest to break it. Not sure about Saints 2nd try but Bentham seemed to have no hesitation in giving it. I thought "Danny boy" was head and shoulders above anything the Saints had to offer and when he's in that sort of mood we can put teams on the back foot and we look to have plenty of points in us. I thought all 17 players performed well and if we'd have cut out some of the silly mistakes that lost us the ball and put us under a lot of pressure we could have won more comfortably. Nice to see Bruno back, thought he and Gerry had good games, particularly in defence. When we do cut out the silly mistakes and start firing on all cylinders we've got nothing to fear from anyone, Brough, Grix, Robbo, Browny, Lunt, Leroy, Gerry, Eden etc have the flair and ability to ensure that this could be our best and most exciting season ever in SL.
