After 2 games, I think Big E should not be starting and should be coming off the bench. He brings a momentum shift to a game when he enters after 20 mins and that is what we needed last night. When he start there is no emotional uplift that his arrival brings. Also, Griff is probaly the more productive forward to start with.

Last night we lacked creavity, and the biggest dissappointment was our strong pack was not strong - where was the donmination? - and that could partially be down to big guys on heavy pitches as much as too attitude. I am sure Browny will change it for Hull game , and Galpharm pitch will suit us better.

Lets not blast players for 1 poor performance. Our squad looks competitive for high things this year, and although 2 points got away last night, SL this year will be the most competitive around our finishing spot (2nd-5th is my prediction)

McGillv has had 2 solid games, and I think that we are not getting most of Leroys talents at the moment, and would considered him on other Wing.

I fully agree with whqt you say about Eorl & Griff.

I have always thought that Eorl was best of the bench giving us more impact. I cannot remember where i read it but in eorls testimonial was a comment about having eorl coming on at interchange gave both the team and the fans a lift.

I would be happier seeing Eorl coming on to help pick up the intensity.

Agree too, Eorl is an impact player and not only does he perk our team up he makes the opposition wary and gets them pumped up to take hin on when he's on

I think he will revert to interchange against Hull - perhaps Nb is saving him for interchange at Galpharm only?

Well i am just putting two and two together as i see someone has voted for Eorl to start.

I think that Nathan has said in the past that he wanted Eorl on at the start to give the team some momentum at the start of a game. It certainly worked at Cardiff when he flattened 3 Wire players with 3 seconds on the clock.

Yes - was a great run to start Cardiff - but by starting him we are losing the change of momentum / uplift option he brings/guarantees.

Our other forwards can hit hard / momentum at start of game, and but don't have the talisman status.

I think we should have a Bugler that plays the 'Cavalry Charge' music just before he comes on...

i just wish he'd use his considerable size and speed better!

When we use him as an interchange it lifts the atmosphere and gets all the fans chanting/cheering. Surely if this is what NB wants he'll use eorl as an interchange prop. Tbh starting Mason and griffin at prop wouldn't do any harm and then 20-25 mins in bring eorl on.

Great Idea, anyone got a Bugle? I have one somewhere, will have to find it out, we could also play great escape when we have try dissallowed, might also improve atmosphere as suggested in several threads last year.

We had a bugle in about 1989 - it got threatened to be shoved in some strange places by opposition coaches at times

Find that bugle for the cavalry charge aka eorl off the bench .
Also, need to find some one who can play it....
