Totally different side to last week, giants seemed to lack enthusiasm you will come back against hull next week, it just wasn't giants night don't think the heavy pitch helped to be fair.

poor display from the giants tonight, too many mistakes,lost count of how many dropped balls.

the attack needs work, the combo of lawrence and hodgson doesnt seem to be coming off at the moment with brough..whether they are running wrong lines or its the passing i dont know.

cas were good in defence and shaded the forward battle.

how was that a penalty try?!?!

i can see a few changes next week, kirmond, patrick and raliegh to come in maybe...

We gave Cas no respect whatsoever in the first half. Our players seemed to think they could just run over you. Did we actually put in an attacking move? Oh yeah there was the "give the ball to O'donnell".

The first half was summed up when we gave away a penalty for having 4 people in the front row of the scrum.

We played better in the second half but Youngquest's second killed us off and we lost our discipline, gave away too many penalties and generally sucked.

Take nothing away from Castleford who were much the better team overt 80 mins but some of our players need to get their heads out of their rears when we play the so-called lesser teams or we'll lose many more matches like that..

Grix caught some high balls but giants didnt do too well

Grix was easily MOM for the Giants

Have to agree with Grix MOM he showed his quality like he did in the last 3rd part of the season before leaving us. Fans were slagging him and Kear had patience but he came through in the end even though out of postition.

Hudds MOM definately Grix.
Brough - worst game I've seen him have for a while, though it's hard when your pack is second-best.

grix was out mom easily. people need to stop slagging off hodgson off because if you went to the game it was dark in that corner with no flood light so most people would of struggled.

have to go with the majority and say Grix, just didnt stop working throughout, Broughy lost it and went missing when you needed him
