| And then Hodgson being tackled without the ball.
Thank you Mr Silverwood.
Oh, and I notice that from Mr Bentham's viewpoint HKR were never offside.
Mmmm.

| Oh do be quiet.
A draw was the fair result in the end.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| From a mutal point of view he went for the ball he didn't go for the tackle
If it was the other way round you would have all agreed it's rugby league a contact sport not tiddlywinks

Jeez Stevo, shouldn't you have left the Sky Sports Studio now!
I think i'll trust Terry Matterson's non-biased opinion over this one, anyhow.
Unless your a wind up merchant..

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Fair result for me, not the highest quality but a very exciting game. It really came to life for the last half hour. I think you probably played to around 65% of your ability and we were around 85%.
The last few plays offer up enough talking points for a season, was Lolesi offside? I thought so, was it a tackle without the ball? At first glance yes but the hand around the man appeared to be going for the ball, could have easily been a penalty try. Isn't there a gentleman's agreement to have uncontested scrums? Why was Rovers pack so unprofessional as to allow Huddersfield one against the head? Isn't a penalty try if you're tackled in the air in the in goal?
All topped off with a fantastically classy player kicking one off the touchline with the last kick of the game.
Brilliant, brilliant entertainment.

That's not the only issue though is it?
League points aside, I really think this was a brilliant game that ended perfectly.
I'm being a bit of a romantic, and deserve to get shot down in flames but this result will have little impact at the end of the season and came close to a near perfect game of TGG for me.
Just as an aside (and I'll believe anyone who answers truthfully) was Lolesi offside from the kick or given benefit of the doubt because he was out of shot? I only saw the replay at the game and wasn't well positioned for the big screen.
BTW- Thank you very much Wishy for the ticket, guaranteed trip to CP for you and The Nipper for all HKR-Barracudas ( ) games from now on!

| No, you are right. In all honesty how many chances did Huddersfield bomb, never mind chances? Stone cold 100% try scoring opportunities, all because of a bad pass, or lack of one?
A thrilling game that both sides could have won - how long were KR on the Giants line without a score? So perhaps a point a piece is fair.
but we could have knocked Hull FC down a spot this weekend, see what its cost you Rovers

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God: |
|
| Usain Lolesi it must be, He couldn't have been more offside if he was stood on our tryline.
