| Does anyone know what sort of a team that you guys will be sending up to play Barrow on 24th Jan bearing in mind you are playing Cas a couple of days later, which would indicate that you would be playing a similar team that played Haven.

| I would think it would be similar to the 'Haven game but with perhaps one or two additional lads that are closer to the first team. We'll find out later in the week when the squad gets announced.

| Well surprise surprise, Huddersfield are sending their acadamy squad to Barrow, what a complete and utter pi$$ take. When this fixture was announced a while back they said they would be sending a strong a squad as was possible, what a joke, and just think Barrow could have played a very strong Saint's team last night if it had'nt been for tomorrow's game.

| Hold up a min pal.I think considering what has alledgedly gone on this week and the fact they have cas two days later does give them a bit of an excuse.that club will understanderbly be in a bit of a predicament at the moment.

| Am i correct in saying the Barrow game was arranged before the Cas match? As for whats gone on this week it will have thrown the clubs plans around a bit, but it shouldnt have stopped them sending a stronger squad to Barrow.

| Yeh but the club may be suspending these players.you cannot expect the same group of players to play 2 games in 72 hours a week away from sl if they can help it.surely you've gotta agree!?

| I never expected the full first team squad, but yes they could send 5/6 of them mixed in with the young un's, dont see what harm that could do.

| Other than telling those 5/6 a week early that they've been dropped?

Get over yourself. Tell us where the Giants promised a 'strong team'. Who said this at the club? They have publicly stated that the 1st teamers would play in Eorl's testimonial and versus Cas. If that news did not reach under your stone then tough. You may want to learn about the difference between U20s and academy...if you can be bothered.

Huddersfield assured Barrow's Board of Directors that they would be sending a strong side which would include several first teamers. The Cas game was arranged AFTER the Barrow game BTW.
I think it will be a lesson learned for the future.

You really don't know how these things are arranged and agreed do you? If you are going to make things up at least try and be plausible. Your first attempt is risible.

| It's basically the same team that held Batley for long periods and also beat Whitehaven last week.

Get off your horse and drink your milk.
Large parts of this team ran Saints close a week before the Challenge Cup final.

| Like SRC wrote, the Huddersfield board assured the Barrow board that they would send a team made up of a mixture of first teamers and reserve/academy/u20's/ whatever you want to call them players. Nobodys saying the team isnt a decent one, like someone has said they pushed Saints all the way last season ( and yes i did watch the game on Sky), however the club has gone back on their word. Crabtree's testimonial was called off so this would have been a good opportunity to give some first team players a run out against a good team. There rant over, i'll go and get back under my stone now!!
