They've been loss making for a while - JJB loaned then £4million in 2008 - it was highlighted on JJB Sports financial report as the auditors "had voiced misgivings".
It would not surprise me if it happened.

Kooga Rugby Ltd is owned by JD Sports Fashion plc. They seem pretty secure and have beaten Trader estimates.

One year they'll actually do a Claret shirt with a Gold V with the V finishing at the chest area. It will sell like hot cakes and I can parp on here how I told you so etc etc. It will happen one year, I feels it in me bones!

| been down to the stadium today, got season tickets and went into the shop to see if any update on the away shirt ... still no clearer... just 'it should be out before season starts.... ' which is two weeks away
so just decided to buy the home one instead, would of been nice to have the choice though
eorls is in the shop now .. sorted that one out, maybe they will be wearing that one! |

To say this whole away shirt episode is shambolic is an understatement.
If the shirt is not over here yet they could at least show us a design. Maybe they are worried people won't like it.
Similar to Danrils post - if they did an old style cotton C&G irregular hooped shirt it would make them a fortune. I can't help that the limited merchandise is more to do with shop space in the two shops rather than lack of ideas.
