Grix did a lot of good stuff I think, some nice cleanup at the back in defence and his timing to join the line and pass on to Wardle leading to his break was out of the very best of RL

Yep i agree about Grix - when he's confident he plays well, him and Murphy mopped everything up at the back on Saturday and were both very assured without being fancy or trying too hard.

I will put my hand up and admit I was screaming at them to just keep hold of the ball at one point after a hull knock on as we were throwing the ball all over the shop before my other (better) half calmly tapped me on the shoulder and said " you idiot don't you know the rules" lovely lass that of mine! |

Said it before defence is key! The foundations of any team is the ability ro defend! Trust in each other is shown and group passion and togetherness like we had against hull and certainly against Wigan. Build pressure, complete sets, and let the territorial game win through! Grix at full back is the prime example of this, great sense of awareness and safe as houses at the back. The more confident he is their the more you will see him start his attacking game.

As for Murphy how well has he taken his chance? Never looked back. Again in defence safe as houses, can return a ball in heavy traffic and make good meters, just an outstanding worker who perfectly fits the giants new ethic!
