So according to the HULL paper Connors move to hull was in big part due to their CC win.

I for one am glad he's gone would never blame him for leaving as I think we probably low balled his wages thinking a big fee would keep other clubs away but apart from the Hull match where he was top drawer his biggest contribution was getting pushed by Campese in the Hull KR match sort of says it all I think !!

The lack of that yard of pace means I could only see him playing as some type of pivot or maybe loose forward in the long run.Good luck to him though.

I'm commenting on the fact that this paper says he joined due to their success in the challenge cup- but yet this paper announced his signing a few months before the cup final was even played!
a bit of poop stirring quite clearly going on.

Bit of an enigma Conner , no pace it's true ,but at times superb rugby brain .example the quick hands he showed in Murphy's try at kr .never mentioned on the telly ,or indeed on here. .other times he acts like a petulant teenager.
