| "Huddersfield are now favourites for the league leaders shield, unbelievably, on the back of 5,000 crowds"!
if that isn't enough incentive to get the stayaways and casuals on board to shove down their gutted throats I don't know what is
lets get everyone we know to the last 5 games and shut em up.

| "It's a joke" was his words! It might be bad but thought the way he said it was very harsh! Lets get try and get people down to the Johns Smith stadium and try and get a good away following for Wigan away!

| It may be harsh but it's true. Huddersfield's numbers have always been poor but then so was the team.
Now you are on the verge of finishin top, best team in 50 years and your numbers are still poor. You can have a siege mentality and ignore the comments if you want. but if you can't build good numbers now....you never will. On the back of these type of numbers, long term you will simply not be able to maintain the quality of team you have and could quite easily revert back to where you a decade ago.

| You should look at the track of our crowd numbers over the last decade
And those of the rest of Superleague
Then come back and pass an informed comment.
I suspect that is beyond you.

| a 5,000 crowd for a club doing so well and with some of the players you have is pretty poor. Is there just not a lot of fans of RL around there or is it prices etc?

| Try reading some of the million or so posts on the subject
FWIW the giants have lost 20% of their average attendance this season over last
A combination of Nathan Brown stuffing the club, the wider economic situation & the hike in season ticket prices
Our home support has remained pretty static I think but the number of visiting fans has dramatically fallen away (maybe because they don't like to see their team lose so often to Huddersfield)
Incidentally the Superleague as a whole has seen a 10% drop in attendances
Obviously you know how to fix this, and I'm sure the RFL would pay well for your advice.

| It was nearer 6000 than 5000. And not many of those were Cas fans. In fact it made me laugh listening to radio Leeds on the way home, when one bright spark from Cas said they took over 1500 to Huddersfield. And those of us who went can honestly say there were only 400 Cas fans at most.
In fact I would say far less than we took to Cas.

i was thinking that too when i heard that on the radio... 1500 from cas will give them the 700 at most out of the 5700 crowd.

| Just a general comment, but have noticed a more an more negative voice in particular areas of our crowd about certain players.
This week I was very close to moving seats due to the constant barage of one particular player..... and we were winning and we are top of the league.
We will never have a team full of world class players, but what we are, is a team and its about time our fans had the same attitude and realised that we too are part of that team..
If i were a new fan coming to the Giants against Cas and was sat by these particular people, i would have two minds wether or not to come back.... Is this how we really want to portray ourselves!!

Sorry was this aimed at me?
Firstly I never claimed to have any answers at all and secondly i was asking a simple question out of interest. Mainly as i don't like to just go off what SKY say and would rather ask people who are closer to the club.

| I don't think it was aimed at you buddy, not sure.
I think the problem with our crowds is a mixture of everything. We have been lucky to have Ken do us some great deals on season tickets last few seasons and we are very grateful. I do think one more season of cheap season tickets would of been best for the club though! Market it right and we could of used Paul Anderson's "Create out own legacy" which with cheap tickets might of worked really well!
Also the way we ended our last season really annoyed the most loyal fans so trying to sell full priced season tickets was made extra hard!
