| talking to some town fans in newcatle wed night, asked them if they was going wembley sat to support the giants, couldnt believe it when they told me that town had a home game same day...you would have thought they would have moved it to sunday at least.i think the footy has let the town of huddersfield down here on such a important day for the whole town by dividing loyalties.

| Balls to em - those that want to come to Wembley will.
The town fans going to watch them play Yeovil will be the bitter, Giants hating ones from Wakefield,Dewsbury etc

| Moving games wasn't really an option for them.
No point complaining.

| They couldnt move the date, but they did move the time, so fair play to them imo.

| No. Sky will dictate that, not HTFC.

| It's a killer that! Same happened to us last year, City were at home and just being promoted into the Premiership it was a hard decision for a lot of people. We still managed at least 30,000 for Wembley tho (and City got hammered 5-0 I think). Anyway's lads good luck tomorrow I'll be there cheering you on!!

Thank you, a bit of balance. Town would have moved the day if they could - both the Town crowd and the amount supporting Giants at Wembley will suffer as a result but nothing could be done. I'm sure the vast majority watching Town on Saturday will be cheering on the Giants on the box and hoping to get some silverware in Huddersfield.

Fair play to Yeovil as well. They didn't have to switch it. And it means I can get finished at the stadium and down to the pub for the final, so that's nice.

| town still reduced the prices to a fiver though which for me is taking the mickey and couldnt even mention the fact that giants were playing that day, but that because of some other event the kick off has been moved forward 3 hours, and before anyone says i am a town hater i did used to be a season ticket holder at town, and still go sometimes.

Don't be an idiot - reducing the prices will not make a single person decide to watch Town *instead* of going to Wembley. It's about trying to get as many of the sports fans as possible that have decided not to go to Wembley to go to watch Town. Lets face it, it's not a cheap do going to Wembley, or watching Town normally. So if folk have decided they can't go to Wembley because of the cost then a cheap ticket offer is a great idea.

| sorry digger i am not an idiot, i for one feel very strongly that town seem at every point to try to outdo the giants whenever possible, yes i take your point about cost involved, but if the boot was on the other foot the giants wouldnt do the same, as happened when town appeared in the play offs, there does seem to be a mindset at town that if we ignore the giants or outdo them they will go away, ever since ken davy got involved there has been very little give by town towards the giants, watch what happens when we get a home play off tie, will town change a home match then , doubtful we will play friday night no doubt, as said earlier i am an ex town fan who wish them all the luck in the world but it doesnt appear to be a two way thing. As for you saying that reducing the prices wouldnt make a single person not got wembley you are wrong as i know 3 people who have chosen to watch town when they were going to wembley intially, anyway rant over cmon u giants at wembley and fot what its worth hope town triumph against yeovil.

You're doing a good job of sounding like a moaning idiot. What the hell are they doing or have they done to try and 'outdo' the Giants? You really think reducing the price for a game against Yeovil is trying to 'outdo' a Wembley Cup Final. How insecure are you?
And you wonder why some Town fans think some Giants fans have chips on their shoulders

| dont mean to sound like a moaner but i am allowed my point of view wether it is the same as yours or not, just because i dont agree with you doesnt mean i am wrong or carry a chip on my shoulder, i have only said what i feel to be the case which if you look at towns track record towards the giants is correct, such as moving the game back for another event, not the cup final not even mentioned by the stadium annoucer, is that a chip on my shoulder, if i remember rightly when town got to the play offs we as giants were encouraged to give our support which many of us did, me included and as i said earlier i still watch town just not as a ticket holder, if that makes me a moaning idiot so be it. i am also good friends with plenty of town fans and its not the supporters i have an issue with its the arrogance of the club itself, plus people such as yourself who always seem to take offence against anybody who raises any negatives against town, i will say no more on the matter and leave it at that saying we have different views on the matter but that doesnt make me or you idiots, or moaners.

| I'm still non the wiser as to what you think Town have done to try and 'outdo' the Giants. No, of course you don't have a chip on your shoulder - you moaning about what Town are doing on the same day as the Giants play in the Challenge Cup final proves nothing
Don't worry about Town, enjoy your day.
