| Lots of players coming and going and the club saying we were tight on the salary cap which I struggle to accept.
Bearing in mind there is a live salary cap and you cannot sign a player in advance unless you can fit them in on the current salary then where are we regards the cap.
Ignoring any players who came in las season as the cap was live eh Ikahihifo and symonds for Robbo and the Leeds exilesince the end of the season we have lost
Grix
Eorl
Huby
Connor
Wood
Ellis and a couple of fringe players
We have brought in
Ferry
Gaskell and
Clough
That says to me there must be huge wedge of money available unless someone thought that we should pay Gaskell and clough the same we paid Eorl and Ellis /
Are there any other players I have Missed . There have been a few promoted from the academy but they will surely have been offset

| Although some players salaries increase in their contract eg Symonds could have been paid 20k last season and 80k this season I still don't buy the cap comments. Now Huby has gone we should have loads of space to bring in 3 good players - even more so if Wardle goes to make way for one.

Nrierley and ormsby were here last season so would have been under the cap then.

Their salaries won't have all been included though- only part of them.

| You are obsessed with this inexperienced youngster brearley. If Mamo does come he won't be playing for a couple of months anyway- I do hope he is better than the Newcastle supporters seem to think....

im expecting him to come over and absolutely take the competition by storm then given the hype that you and brearley and it appears stone have over this player. Nothing less will do.

| What exactly is our salary cap figure? Does anyone know?
Surely whatever it is, it will be a 'maximum' figure so we are under no obligation to spend up to it.
If KD decides to cut back on his subsidy, our 'cap' figure could well be lower than in previous seasons, don't you think?
The evidence would seem to suggest more players are going out than coming in and the Bradford 3 won't be on huge contracts.
Mamo coming would seem to depend, amongst other things, on Wardle going the other way so again, no net benefit in terms of player numbers.
Looks to me like we've made a decision to rely on the young lads a lot more this season.
Brave or daft, you pays your money and takes your choice..

exactly, an exciting young full back with pace thats the kind of full back the giants have lacked for years, will add an extra dimension to our attack
some will love him to fail though just so they can start a bring back grix thread

He's not the first player we have brought from Oz that was crocked when we bought him, I agree lets get some pace in the team, I hope the other guy comes as well. whoever we bring in there is risk involved, not least with the Bulls trio but we are starting fresh, Lets give RS a chance to show what he can make of them.
