Well reading Paul Anderson's comments about the game and not dwelling on what might have been, excuses etc. and focussing on how we put that right for 2014, is a breath of fresh air, and fills me with optimism for 2014.

We have to remember this is his first full season at the helm and what a start! I now look forward to 2014 with expectation, not only to qualify in the top 4 but to win games like last night.

I guess we could do with some news on who's coming in and whose is leaving, now that the season is over for us,

A friend of mine, who some say is an excellent burger flipper (in joke) text me last night to say there is a rumour that Kaufusi is coming our way, if true would be an excellent addition.

He was the one who flattened Eorl last season.

Think you could be right, especially with the way he came out waving to the fans at the end of the match last night, looked to be his last farewells. Pity he wasn't on the field instead of Wood last night.

I think Wood is taking a bit of unfair flak. He isn't a hooker, he's a scrum half, he's come into a team part way through the season and been used off a relatively weak bench. If you look at his game against Castleford earlier in the season when he started and he had two decent props going foward, you will realise that he has actually done a decent job.

Next season could see him move to 7 with Robinson going to 9, but I'm not 100% sure that is the right move as Robinson has had a decent season at scrum-half.

I feel a bit for Faiumu, he came to us as a fantastic hooker, turned into a great 13 and then got ruined at prop. If he is leaving then I wish him well as he has been a good player for the Giants.

Me too, he's really kicked on this year - perhaps he's got a better offer elsewhere?

Not sure who is going to replace Ferguson, this season he has been in the best form I've seen while at the Giants.

A real prop is the one thing we do need

I'm really disappointed to see Fergy go ...he's a superb player and an absolute joy to watch. Cording will also be a loss cos i thought he was really starting to develop into a good player, can see him being another Danny Kirmond for us and regretting it in a couple of years.

If we could get a big prop or two we could let Larne slip back to the second row. Mullally needs to push on next season. We've also got Josh coming through...
