Can't really say I remember seeing him play a lot. Surely the thing we have all seen is the need to have a bloke who brings a kicking game to cover brough when needed and keep defences guessing who is going to be the one to charge down and control.
Woods kicking games doesn't need to be as solid as broughs just good enough to take some of the pressure off

I saw Wood play v Wigan for Wakey, he did some good stuff but needs kicking practice. But if he is signed for his distribution rather than kicking that's ok

Or more likely, that David Faiumu is out of contract at the end of the season. |

More likely that we don't have a suitable back up for Lunt as faiumu is a loose forward.
