| He needs another 12 months, defensively as sound as MDV, highlighted late on when from left centre he spotted the kick thru wrong footing Grix and tidied up from under our sticks, he'd no right to be over there.
Does so much that goes unnoticed, he'd get 12 months if it was up to me.

| I would give him another year. I would also give Dodgy another year, albeit on less money as he's apparently on a decent whack.

| Gilly has versatility and still has the pace. Throw in his big game experience and he's well worth another year.

| I really rate Gilmour and think he has been a quality signing for us.
However, what worries me is that he is starting to look a little battle weary.
There have been times this season, when he has looked completely out on his feet. Obviously, this is because he is putting some graft in, but the Saints game in particular was an example of this.
Also, I noticed in yesterday's warm-up that he is looking very stiff in the way he is running - very reminiscent of Stephen Wild last year.
That being said, I'd have him for another year, if only for back-up.

| Not too sure on this. What was the Fozzard / Gilmour "love in" after the final whistle all about? Are they going to be rooming together in Perpignan next year?

Former team mates at Saints they're probably just good mates. I know Gilmour and Leon Pryce are friends which was why Pryce was at the Bradford match earlier this year it's not inconcevable that he and Fozzard are friends as well.
I would definately offer him another year, assuming the price is right of course. Our young second rowers like Cording, Molloy etc will learn so much from him. He is the definition of what a professional player should be, never gives less than 100% and has some top line skills to back it up as well.

| Yes from me too - class player who has done the lot - many times and the fact he's with us is a massive bonus for us with his experience.
Like has been said....if he wants to play on with us let him !!

| gilmour and fozzard are both from dewsbury and played together at saints so i thiink it is a good bet they will be good mates.
As for Gilmour someone said he has improved the last three games. i disagree i think he has been consitantly good for us. his only weakness imo is his tendancy to tackle around the neck giving away quite a few penalties.

| Gilmour is one of those players that you don't always notice when he is playing. But if he wasn't playing you would notice.
I don't know the stats but he is solid in defence week after week and he brings a wealth of experience to the younger players.
Deserves another year at least.
