Sorry but after the news yesterday I have had enough of people not respecting our great club we have had a coach who has been trying to leave for 3 yrs and now a captain who has decided to join a team who loses by 50 every week. Can you imagine that happening at Leeds or saints who is running our show. I'm sorry but you dont leave a club supposedly going for the big prizes because you are missing your family . We need to wise up quick Danny Brough new captain or is he off too and we need someone who can lead the team at wembley and old trafford who believes in the club and wants to be here for next 3 years with our new coach. Good luck to Kevin brown not a bad player but can't cut it against the top 4 it will suit him fine at widnes on big money in a team that's not expected to win if we are serious about winning we need Lunt back from Leeds our big paid players playing big minutes with a pack on with some sizeon driven on by a captain with passion for the club otherwise it's bridesmaids again for us

I agree to an extent but think it would be very risky to remove the captaincy from Kevin Brown. The club have set a precedent with Nathan Brown, both Brown's leaving you cannot let one remain in a leadership role and remove the other. Stripping the Captaincy would upset Kevin Brown and probably the other players closest to him.

I would rather he stood down voluntarily, but think it too big a risk to strip him of the position.

I'd leave it as is , as don't see much to be gained by altering the dynamics of the team hierarchy , and possibly causing dressing room politics.

Next year robbo or lod for me as captain. Broughy has enough responsibility on his plate already and should be focussed on his own potential match winning performances , than also carrying the team decisions and responsibilities too.

Make your mind Up - first you have a whinge that kb is going and it wouldnt happen anywhere else- then you say he isn't good enough anyway so it's just as well he's leaving.
Perhaps players are just fed up with either the constant negativity or complete
apathy from the folk of Huddersfield and go somewhere where supporters have a bit of passion and positivity. Just a thought.

As a relative newcomer, I am tottally surprised by the lack of noise during home games. Its almost as if the supporters are there for a sunday afternoon tea party.

Lets get behind the team, whoever is captain, manager or tea boy and give them the same commitment that they give us!

But it happens both ways. When we played at Wigan at the start of the season, there was hardly any noise from the home crowd and we were almost non-stop.

Noise basically comes down as to who is on top.

Seriously- you reckon we out shouted the brigantes? No it comes from being arissed to make the effort to sit with other giants fans and join in.
Great atmosphere in section 106 of etihad- would have been even better if we had all sat together like wire, Salford, cas, wakey, Bradford fans did.

HOw can anyone come on here and slag brown off as he wants to huddersfield to be closer to his family. His grandma has cancer i think it is and he has just had a baby boy. He went to the board at the begining of the season and said he wants to move back to wigan. Widnes knew this and offered money so hes accepted so he can be closer to family. HIs family is more important than a game of rugby league.

8/10 away fans are louder than home fans. Every fan prefers away games.

the idea that he signed for widnes to be 'closer' to his family is laughable. He went for big bucks...which is not unreasonable but we can do without the bullsh*t.

Many people with close family ties live more than an hour apart. And the talk of emergency is melodramatic piffle.

I do agree that despite the ways the Giants have helped KB - and they have - he has no loyalties to the Giants.
