You missed out Gilmour, Chan and Cording are back row forwards .... Patrick is more a prop than Chan.... We need a big nasty evil prop forward, a back up stand off a lá Brad Drew last season experienced maybe in his twilight but good enough to cover for and swap with Brown, Leroy on the wing and a strike centre in the Gasnier/Lyon mould.

I'd let carlile go as seems it is going to happen anyway as Fuey can play hooker and we have more than enough back rowers to cover.

My wishful thoughts on a starting team would be;
Grix, McG, NEW CENTRE, Simpson Leroy , Brown, Brough, Nasty Evil NEW PROP, Robinson Mason, Fa'alago Chan LOD

Bench from Lunt Fooey Gilmour, Crabtree, Patrick, Lawrence

Alternates; New Winger and Leroy back to centre

Non ALTERNATE; Nasty evil prop

Silly wish a 24 year old Brett Hodgson for full back.....

Lawrence will be in the second row and Falalogo will play as prop. I still expect to see another couple of players to strengthen the squad.

I agree, although I do think it is unfortunate that Fa'alogo will move to prop as he is still a class second rower - you only had to see some of the lines & steps he took on Friday to realise that.

With regards to the Nasty Evil prop - I couldn't agree more, though I would also like him to be a natural leader who has won silverware such as Morely and Peacock - although not necessarily them; someone Patrick & Walker could aspire to.

I think Kevin Brown has done an alright job this year, I just feel he lacks the big game experience and the level head required to control and lead a team through big games.

Last year when browny hit the wall as i said earlier Brad Drew came in and ran the team around the park.... Its what deacon does at wigan misss a fair few games but has the big match temprement and he pushed Sam T back to fullback...which worked out well for them.....

The prop would need to be from the NRL..... not too many choices here hence Leeds signing Moore and probably Griffin....

with the new NRL cap and changes in tax laws etc I doubt that any big name prop such as that Ginger giant alluded to from will be affordable from Aus. We need to get the scouts out quick sharp!

Hence why i hope we are holding out for a decent fee if Griffin goes to Leeds... Some NRL players will come as SL's not as hard as the NRL... and can't think of a home grown one whos available.... although ours Graham 2 x Burgess are going down there faster than they are coming here......

A top class centre is urgently needed. Can"t remember last time one of ours made a break ? Paul Whatuira I think. Where you acquire one from is another matter. But here"s hoping.

lawrence is not a 2nd rower, why are we trying to convert people to positions that do not suit them, we have enough 2nd row options, O'donell, chan, falalongo, kirmond, gilmour, raleigh, fairbank, molloy, cording, sarsfield, fergusen, peltier in the first team squad so why convert a centre who doesnt run it hard or make yards, the only player this season who has repeatadly ran full pelt at the opposition is mcgillvary and is a winger, need a prop who will make yards and bust tackles and a centre, we dont need to keep putting square pegs in round holes

eusa_clap.gif agreee.....2nd row is certainly not a problem, we could field 2 teams of 2nd rowers so why potentially ruin a young lad's promising career by trying to change him ...Bruno is a class centre , lets concentrate on turning him into and even better one !

Who would have thought kirmond would make it has a forward when coming in has a free scoring winger?
