One of your experienced and respected posters (Ponner) has been advising us over on Southstander of the quality throughout the Giants setup, and how you have managed the cap in such a way that injuries would not have such a detremental effect on your side that it has on the likes of Leeds this season. What with our lacklustre approach to producing our own players, and only concentrating on building up a starting 17 of imports and big name signings, apparantly, Huddersfields' model is the one to follow

With this in mind, and the fact that Huddersfield haven't won a league title in just short of 50 years, and with you also having the same amount to spend on the cap as Leeds, surely the pressure must be on this season for you to finally win a league title and appease those hungry fans?

You will surely be disappointed if you don't at least make the Grand Final? And rightly so.

And what with it being an even playing field, 48 years is a bit embarrassing without a title....

1. We haven't had a phenomenal management structure for the past 50 years.

2. The playing field hasn't been even with regard to the salary cap until the last couple of years.

with respect to you Leeds have a world class 17 which costs alot but we were an average team. untill the 2009 coach of the year Nathan Brown with the current man of steel Brett Hodgeson came along and made us into the 2009 club of the year. you are still playing with the bulk of Tony Smith's team and only brought in 3 or 4 players all of which are world class and high earners and promoted several from your under 20's.
as for titles you mean top league titles and not 1st,2nd or 3rd divisions which we have won in the last 20 years

So you have a phenomenal management structure now, better than Leeds? Despite their achievements over the last 6 years?

The salary cap has potentially hindered Leeds for the last 8 years, so your bleatings now are irrelevant

I was wondering why hed been rescued!!

Of Leeds' 25 man squad, 11 are home grown academy products. Four of the others are Ambler, Amor, Coady & Pitts. Young (probably cheap) signings for the future. That leaves 10 players that Leeds have brought in on "big money". So less than half the 25 man squad.

I am genuinely unsure here as to whether you are actually, seriously, comparing Huddersfield's achievements in recent times to that of Leeds'?
