| There are a number of seasons where we would not have come back to win that game. I know Leeds are poor but winning away and after being well behind twice was great to see. Just a few reflections:
1. Clune is a decent half back, we look much better with him organising the team
2. Jake Connor can be mercurial, has a great passing game
3. Luke Yates is a terrific ball runner and defender
4. Golding has looked better and quicker passing in the last 2 games
5. We have pace on both wings - at last
6. Marsters is having a very good season.
It was great to see them so happy after the win.

Great win against a decent Rhinos team, who I thought ran out of steam, especially after losing their winger & centre down the Swift/Marsters side, who ran them ragged, it was men vs boys, those 2 have struck up a real good connection, we all know what Swift brings, the guy is an out and out try scorer with pace to burn.
Marsters this season (so far) is my player if the season, he's showing us the reason why Watson bought him over to replace
Leutele, is ball carrying & foot work are an absolute joy to watch, the other players have no idea what he's going to do next! it's taken him a while to settle here in England.
Yates - Captain Fantastic as usual.
Jake Connor, starting to look like the Connor of old, he was hampered last season as we all know, this season, he's had a fine off season, built himself back up & you've got to love him the way he winds the oppo up.
Clune is a class act, I've been crying out for him & Lolohea to start a run of games together & so far, they look the business & are starting to gel.
Next game St Helen's, won't be easy but the way the lads are fighting for each other, lets go and get those 2 points.

| I have to say that having given the team and Watson a lot of stick this year, i was impressed by that performance. I didn't think this team had that attacking play in them, and although the acid test will be against saints and then Warrington in the cup, i can say the following:
1) We look so much better without Russell getting in the way and hoovering up good ball. Clune actually has decent pace, i would like to see him attack the line more as he is more than capable of it. You can see him growing in confidence now and it's making the whole team better
2) Marsters is a totally different player to last year. Last year he had no idea where the tryline was. You could see he was a strong runner from his backfield yards, but near the line he didn't seem capable. Now he looks like a real threat and regularly threatens the line.
3) Swift is absolute class, as good as Jerry but with a different skillset. I said at the start of the year i was excited by our wingers , i like Wallis as well, and feel our best backline is definitely the one we had out against Leeds. Please keep Bibby out of the team, he would not have scored the one Wallis did, as , like last week, he would have been too slow to make it into the corner
4) I still don't like our acting half options. In the first half we were being broken down the middle, and its because our mid defenders arent quick enough to close gaps. It also means we have very little running threat. I really don't see what Milner brings to this side, Golding isn't a Superleague standard hooker either.
We are a couple of players short of challenging for me, it's a shame we wasted money on Milner, Bibby, Livett and didn't go for one quality hooker. Wouldn't even have to be someone on top money, just someone with pace off the mark who can spot an opening.
