Peats is a downgrade for me, sorry to say. I say stick with Adam and George. Put the money into getting Hardaker. No room at Leeds and still playing really well. Is a risk but wants to be back in Yorkshire and when he is settled and playing he always improves the teams he plays for. If Watson thought he could settle him why not? Him at fullback and Tui in the halves, we would have a formidable team then and still have a quota spot open for any mid season changes needed.

We dont need a project signing. We have roby and Kieran rush. One won young player of the year in the league he played in, the other is selected for Jamaica in the World Cup.
What we need is a top class hooker who can provide some speed around the ruck- unfortunately AOB has a habit of being injured- so him doing long stints for 80 minutes this season is unlikely.
As for Connor- as I’ve already said Ken won’t be doing Pearson any favours on that front for a player we don’t really need.
If he did cone back he wouldn’t be the wonder kid anymore. (Lolohea was only just behind him in the Try assist numbers- although I grant you we scored more than you so the percentage is lower)
Oh and getting the town of Huddersfield behind us will have no bearing whatsoever to what happens on the pitch- as Hull FC have shown- in fact it seems to make you worse!

You’re not going to sign a decent hooker at this point in the season. What’s the point in paying over the odds for a player on the wrong side of 30. Playing for Jamaica is also great but that’s not going to guarantee he even makes it as a SL player.

Ken doing Pearson a favour would be leaving Connor alone, he was the only player in our team to get bums in seats this season. Our season coincidentally ended when he went off against wakey. 12 points up with 10 mins to go we lost and then won once whilst he was out.

Hull fans want the club to fail so they can spit their dummies out. Genuinely think we have one of the worst fan bases in the league. If Rushton turns out to be as good as people say he will probably be number 13 meaning Luke Yates will also be used as a prop which is essentially what he does anyway as we have used 13 as an extra prop. So there is going to be massive competition in the pack.
