Yes, Wardle never quite fulfilled his potential with us. Remember Thorman saying how freakish he was and there is no doubt that he has talent but just never really showed it. Had some bad luck with injuries whenever he looked to be getting a run in the side and perhaps a long run in a side is what he needs to really show it. Good luck to him, feel like I should be more upset than I am which probably says it all.

He’s young and still learning his trade - give the lad chance- he’s having to adapt to going from doing it all to doing less. He’s got the off season to work with Watson and hone his skills. Let’s see what he’s like then.
