Wigan couldn't keep hold of their star half back when they have an international half back as coach. Player power and money talks... if a player decides they want to go, there is very little the club can do.... if they keep the player against their wishes they run the very serious risk of them sulking and affecting the rest of the team.
I know in your eyes Kruise can do no wrong, but it might just be that he has flatly refused to stay. |

Really. An England knights player in a position that the club has no cover for to be replaced by a Loose forward who couldn't get in to a shockingly poor Leeds team. |

Trout is a very good prospect and was well thought of at Leeds.
He played for Dewsbury last season but did not rip up any trees.
Saying that I still feel he had a future at Leeds.

Totally agree an unhappy player is only going to cause disruption. Trout looks a fine prospect. As for hooker the club may still be looking for a replacement or alternatively Frawley, Holmes and Russell all have experience of playing there so to suggest we have no cover for O Brien is not true. |

Got to agree, i would have preferred him to want to stay but he didn't so time to move on, and anyway we have lost plenty of better players in the past who wouldn't have minded staying and we do as you say have options. Myself i'm more concerned about building a strong pack then everybody has a chance to play better. |
