I think we tend to do better out of our islanders than our ozzys. Hinchy was good, before that our best ozzy was probably Hodgson, then Drew.

As for the Roberts rumour, if we aren't willing to pay Mellor the same as a second rower who can't get in our team then somethings wrong. I know we have a cap to work to, but that being the case we would surely be trying to get Roberts out on loan somewhere or out full stop to accommodate Mellor? If Mellor does go Roberts really needs to take that opportunity and stop resting on his laurels.

Make your mind up- are they facts or opinion?
We have a different opinion to each other-so?
It seems to bother you but doesn’t bother me- if we all though the same the forum would be rather boring.
My comment is instead of looking at it in the focus of our youngsters are keeping out other players from aus- hence showing them they are better than those players and so therefore encouraging them to continue to play better -you see it as a negative. It’s a squad game- we can’t play all our players, apart from Connor there arent any youngsters we’ve failed to keep hold of so I just dont get your negativity. |

roberts will be on a good wack after his world cup performances and apparently the nrl clubs were sniffing at the time... or agents talking it up
as it stands now mellor should be on more than roberts but at the time we all thought roberts was worth it but hindsight is a great thing! |
