Huddersfield Giants are set to break the bank to sign highly-rated England Academy prop Oliver Wilson from Bradford Bulls, report League Express.

The Giants have had a six-figure fee accepted by the Bulls and are close to securing his services on a multi-year deal, according to League Express. Olly Wilson is a fantastic prospect and IMO he will be a cracking player for you down the line.

He had a cracking game v the Aussie Schoolboys at Headingley last year when he really ripped into them

Watched the academy game today and Wilson stood out for me instantly. Hes the same type of player as Chris Hill.

Dom Young is also such a powerful young man.

We seem to have a few lads recently play loose forward at academy who seem to do so well and then somehow fall away.

I can see Dom going down a similar path to Crabtree. Starting in the centres and ending up as a prop.
