It was shocking, lifting and twisting his leg like that when he was held and other foot was planted meant something had to give and an injury was certain. Not sure whether it was a premeditated act or just utterly stupid.

I thought early on it looked a great game, both teams started well but then Wakey lost discipline - Ashurst in particular, brainless sin bin (worthy of Broughy ) then two penalties leading to tries. They are a more than decent side but need to sort discipline to be consistently good.

Really pleased with what is happening at Giants under Woolford, the team look leaner and quicker than earlier in the season. Too much to do this year but next year looks exciting. If only we can stop playing on Thursdays, I might get more than 4 games from my Season ticket
