brough wont let anyone else on the pitch take over any duties im afraid.
we certainly dropped a clanger not signing up ridyard!!!!
was actually quite refreshing watching turner in the halves today, someone who can pass a ball wide.
rankin isnt looking like hes the one for us im afraid, always a worry for this season with new half back pairing and its now worked again like brough/brierley , brough/gaskell

Turner looks better in halves as he’s so out of shape he can catch and pass while at centre he’s required to do more work

He does look to be carrying bad weight. Looks far more creative than Rankin though. Rankin really is very poor at half back, and when combined with an ageing Brough it's no wonder we have zero creativity on the pitch. It is a rather large hole we are in now. We do have some good players but noone has the vision to use them.

I'd like to see Brough and Turner in the halves. Problem is moving Turner leaves us light in the centre's. Mamo is a good player but because of his injuries has been poor value for money. If an NRL side were interested in him I'd let him go and use the money to to bring in a quality half back.

I don't think an NRL side will be, they hate players that are suspect defensively and sadly Mamo is one of those. He's made for the english game and the more broken style of play but he has shown up badly in the poorer conditions. I think if he were fit at the start of last year instead of making his debut when the ground had firmed up noone would have a good opinion of him.

There’s no way you can play McIntosh at FB. His catching is worth three tries a match to the opposition.
He did it again today, although the commentators were convinced it was Simpson.
The lad has to find a position in field or drop down the leagues I’m afraid.
Any SL halfback will take him apart.
