I like Russell, I just don't see where he fits in. He's not somebody to bring in to warm the bench up.
We have enough backs surely?
Unless we can offload injury prone Mamo early and bring him straight in.

I can’t recall a game where matty Russell has particularly caused us any problems. He’s not what we need- he’s not a leader or a play organiser, he’s not a brilliant defensive organiser, So why fork out all that dosh when we have a perfectly adequate Mackintosh waiting to get regular gametime. Qe have a team full of “solid” players. I like solid players- but if we are going to go down that route at least let them be homegrown.

dont know, must be rubbish, just run with mcintosh and mcgillvary (thats if he doesnt go) and hope someones comes through the academy. always got jared simpson to fall back on if not
