all the possession in the first half like against st helens yet fail to convert it to points and go in at half time somehow losing!! would have been drawing but brough still cant kick goals, dont know why they dont just give the job to turner or gaskell as they both can kick, we just cant unlock defences.. would ridyard have been the better option to keep as a half back ? right now it looks that way.
second half was a repeat of the 'train crash' we had at hull fc round 1, 7 pens and one sin bin and no way back
disappointing to say the least
only good thing was to see symonds back and ferguson once again gaining loads of yardage, jerry was better too this week
1 win from 4... need to win the next two now the pressure is starting to mount'"
You didn't have all the posession in the first half but you shaded it. I'd say 55% - 45%. However you were certainly competitive and the game looked like being a nail biter.
Second half I've no idea what happened. You stopped playing and started rough housing but not in a clever way. Yo were heavily penalised and rightly so and there was no need for it.
Another forty minutes like the first and with the heavy conditions being a great equaliser you were in with a chance.
Thought over all we looked bigger, stronger and fitter and more diciplined. Brough was an idiot all game yet his kicks were truly punishing at times. However Finn showed him how to run a tight game, Brough is a weak link these days..
