Is the rumour about Evalds true then? He does live in Huddersfield so may fancy a club closer to home if its going tits up at the Devils

Neither held club to ransome, Toby wasn't offered a contract while George's dad paid 10k to buy him out of his contract as Anderson made it clear he wouldn't sign George to first team

Harry Newman was offered a scholarship place but went to Leeds initially on a duel scholarship with Leeds Carnegie as he was at that time more union oriented

And as I say - we can't keep them all.

Really hope we sign Niall Evalds but I have a feeling Cas may pip our noses now im hearing Hardaker won't play for them again.

Do we need Evalds now? With Mamo rankin and macintosh where would he play?

Im all for signing quality young British players. Mamo could only be here for another year before he goes back home and we could need a replacement.

Rankin needs to concentrate on the halves next year and have Gaskell as direct replacement for Halves and centre.

Darnell is better on the wing and we should let him concentrate on that position as a first choice winger.

Evalds is lightening quick and for me could be first choice replacement for full back and wing. He is definitely much better than Rankin, Darnell and Gaskell at FB.
