It really was not Wakey most of the game, Giants started on fire, scored easily then sat back made numerous errors which Wakey did very well to take advantage of. Second half Giants cut out the errors and played a bit more boring style. Giants deserved the win IMO. That said Wakey are a stronger more confident team now than they were then, Giants are the opposite with the losses of Lawrence, Symonds and Ta'ai through injury and the self inflicted absence of Brough. It's also at Belle View not the JSS, so all considered Wakey deserved favourites, but so were Leeds and Catalans when we beat them both, so a Fartown win is possible. |

Kendall was the ref for the first time these teams met this season. I remember us Wakey fans being quite frustrated with his allowing delays to the numerous drop outs in the final few minutes of the last game. Let's hope the ref is not a talking point by 10pm on Friday.

I wasn't at the game, but I read every report and none of them backed you up.
As for friday, anything is possible - the difference between top and bottom in this years SL is tight. |

Clearly not this one on sky, which was the first one I came across when I searched...
It began so promisingly for Huddersfield and for teenage centre Sam Wood, who took a pass from Brough to score his first ever Super League try after four minutes, and three minutes later finished off some clever work from hooker Kruise Leeming to double his tally.
Brough was wide with both conversion attempts, though, and from then on Wakefield took control.
...... The game was in the balance until Ben Jones-Bishop made his mark with two tries in the last 15 minutes of the first half.
