If this is the case then questions need to be asked about your recruitment team rather than blaming the coach alone
You were garbage in 2016 under Anderson and have regressed even further in 2017 but IMO it is not only the coach that should burden the blame.
Has Ken Davy finally given up on his quest for glory and his subsequent shelling out for quality players?
You signed 4 Bulls players prior to this season in Gaskell,Clough,Ferguson and Mellor and that clearly shows the owners ambition does it not?'"
Correct just 2 of them are his signings. But that is no excuse for the poor way we are set up. The squad is what it is, work with it.
We have no clue what we are doing all over the pitch, and that rests at his door along with his assistants. A poor team can be coached to perform at a certain level, and a decent coach would make changes to improve in areas that are causing problems, but there is none of this. It's the same every single week. We get rolled upfield by opposition pack every week by poor, weak defending and allowing quick play the balls/offloads, which costs us tries week in week out. When we have ball in hand, we reach their 20 line and panic as there is no structure to our play, it's all off the cuff and no one has a clue where the ball will be going from one pass to the next, until we inevitably drop it or knock on or get intercepted. I can see it, the rest of the dwindling faithful can see it, he must be able to see it, but nothing changes. I honestly am unsure whether we actually train with a ball at any point during the week.
His recent press conference said it all when he said he can't keep coming out saying the same things every week after we lose....that's right Rick, you can't, so make a change and take a look at what you are allowing to happen every week. You're in charge man, get a grip! |

Love Rugby League article from Stone complaining at our lack of depth. I just find this infuriating, we have some of the best youngsters we have ever had at the club, we do have a lack of quality in the first 17 but we do have more depth than previous years.
Our team yesterday was more than good enough to beat a Swinton team with 15 fit players. It's about time Stone started taking some responsibility instead of blaming everyone and everything else..

| Ouch! That has to sting a bit. Not here to mock, I hope you can turn your season around. Your Chairman, deserves more success after the incredible work he has done over the years trying to build your club and fan base up. I genuinely don't understand why your support base isn't bigger. exactly
it cant all be laid at stones door, this is why i have questioned how thewlis has been allowed to keep his job... why stop at stone??
he wasnt even allowed to bring in his own coaching team, thorman and robinson he was given
but yeh lets all blame stone, even the players dont have to take some responsibility  |

true but play too many youngsters all at once and it doesnt work
need to blood them slowly one or two
but when your hands are tied with injuries what can you do? |
