We still obviously have money to spend on players. If players want to play elsewhere for more money then that is their perogative. However it cannot be argued that the club cannot afford better players as long as extensions are offered to players we have.'"
What you say is true. We could have got rid of Larne Patrick and kept Hughes but we demanded a transfer fee of Wigan who would have kept him for nothing if we let him go instead we brought him back to the Giants and let Jack Hughes go to Wire.
We all know how that ended with Patrick but his body on the line, being happy and playing for us all through the 2016 season and helping us have a great season whilst Jack Hughes has achieved nothing this year (apart from a grand final and a Cc cup final with those no hopers at Wire ).GREAT BIT OF BUSINESS BY SOMEONE AT THE CLUB WAS THAT ONE.
But I guess jools and Meast will say that was nothing to do with the club, how do we know what went on behind closed doors and if our fans and Huddersfield were better the club could do anything it wanted.
IMHO we could have crowds of 10 k but we do bait have the right people at the top running things. Anderson was not the right coach and that was clear a long time ago.
