| Grix is named in the nineteen , lets hope Stone sees the light and plays him , then Connors can go sit in the top tier and watch and learn how a fullback should position himself,

We could save a lot of money by not having people working day in day out at the club'"
They will soon be saving a lot of money, making the numbers up in the Championship, Bet it won't be these Coaches and staff you refer too, working " day in day out" that provide the savings though

Absolutely not no.
My area of Conditioning is in a totally different sport, just like the Giants conditioner. Why would I say it's totally inappropriate to have someone who specialises in conditioning people in a different sport, then look to do the job myself? I know absolutely nothing about conditioning a Rugby League player and therefore would not be able to set their diet/nutrition as I do not know what training they are required to do during a day, know nothing about percentage wise their Aerobic and Anaerobic exercise therefore could not do the job. What they need is a conditioner who can cover all areas in order to put everything together.
But still at the end of the day I can see if someone is fit and conditioned for their activity.

| Agree completely Martin -but without the smiley sadly
With the greatest respect if you /me/ DG had shown as much conscience and effort at work as some of those you mention this season ,wed be seriously reading the small ads vacancy column!!
Dont know all circumstances but some posters on here have put more than 40mins effort in each week supporting "our team" for years (FACT)
Comparitively speaking Batley and Leigh (and others) have shown far more in a game than our 40min squad !
KD has asked us many times to bring a friend and double our support figures
The idea is totally logical and proves how hard the man like us wants us to succeed
But our sport is supposed to be entertainment and to some an integral part of their life as a whole
If you went to the cinema and saw a "poor" film - surely you wouldnt in all honesty recommend it to a "friend" would you?
Sadly thats the story - and thats why the problem goes far deeper than the faithful ( just about) on here , and makes the future of our club more fragile
There are quite a number of individuals that are paid to "entertain" us who pay to be entertained - and bar a few isolated moments this season that has NOT been happening, If they have any conscience at all, they ought to give it some serious thought and be honest with themselves - and US !
................and while the situation is still retrievable , sweat blood to do it !
Not the lacklustre performances weve had to suffer!

| Robbo has said that they are under pressure and suffering from nerves. That's nothing to do with effort or lack of.
Thing is if the players read supporters view that they think they aren't trying then that puts more pressure and more nerves.
A lot has been said about Giants "bottling" the big games, the current group of players aren't the same group as those that are said to have "bottled" the CC final, or "bottled" in the playoffs 5-6 years ago. The supporters are for the most part the same group of hardcore.
Perhaps the way the "supporters" behave in these circumstances is having an effect-compare with when Leeds/Bradford/Cas struggled just a thought......

| They're suffering with nerves? It's their JOB ffs. They need to deal with it just like everyone else doing their job. You're right, [ithese[/i guys don't bottle big games - they bottle [ievery[/i game!
To suggest that the "hardcore support" are largely responsible for the team/club's predicament is waaaay off. The responsibility lies solely on those inside the club IMO.
