I agree brearley, we need to step up our game for this weekend, never mind the SL sides, The only one we have played so far in the middle 8s beat us. I feel far from confident about this game at all, I know we have the players to beat them and we should beat them.
They are a step up in class from our last three games though and the question is whether we can step up with them, The second half against London was by far the best we have played over the last 3 games so hoping that's the way we are going.

If we beat Leigh i will then feel far more confident about KR and Leeds, this is the most important game for me, Most of all our forwards need to be on their game to give the halves " whoever they are " a chance, If we lose the battle in the middle I fear we could be in trouble. That said we have the backs to do a job on them if we choose to play that way.

Yes most of that I agree with I guess it will be same team with Sam Rapira back if he's fit. No way will Stone play Brierley but having him warm up with the team and not play will be worse for the lad I think than playing.

They have a naturally aggressive pack and we need to stand our ground but I think have the better back line and if we can get on the front foot their backs won't be used to the likes of Gerry and Leroy.

Half back wise I rate Brough the best of the four but on current form Ellis the worst.

Regardless of the opposition, the last 3 games must surely have given the lads some confidence and some sort of winning mentality back, how much we don't know? Leigh are extremely confident, bordering on arrogance some would say, as they have been for the last 2/3 years, we need to get that out of them

That won't be easy- they went behind at KR and didn't get over the line until 30 minutes into the game- that didn't seem to knock their confidence. Some luck involved for them to go ahead true but they didn't panic.
Rick stone said last night that Leigh haven't really been in a "grind it out" kind of game and that's what he wants to happen.

If we are patient rather than go all out it could lead to Leigh getting frustrated- We need to play the game on our terms not theirs and Stones idea seems a good one - when we have played like that against teams with big packs such as hull, and Warrington it has paid off.
