He didn't leave negotiations so long- jake was offered more than we have ever offered a kid his age- rumoured to be 46k a long time ago- good money for a 21 yr old. I guess all the money, effort, education and time given by the Giants- much by volunteers - wasn't worth extra 4K hull have given to Jake.
It's his decision to leave fair enough. I'm not bothered if that's his wish. Players come and go- and I doubt he will play as well as he did on Thursday again for us. He was being slated by some on here at the start of the season remember!

Could be risky brearley. Other clubs could now be looking Connors way and know that he will go for money- remember griffin had already agreed to sign for saints, then changed his mind didn't turn up for the medical and signed on the dotted lines for Leeds.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that it might not be about money particularly, for Conner. He may just want a change of clubs for his own reasons, I know it's difficult to appreciate anyone wanting to leave a club with such a unblemished record in it's own dealings with players, but it does happen.
