Quote: meast "I haven't posted regularly on here for weeks now, most people know why, and i don't intend to stick around and get labelled and questioned again either.
Just a quick question, despite the seemingly abrupt and shocking turnaround in form, which a lot of people who tried to remain positive and see the bigger picture said was only round the corner, despite being shouted down and called out , should Anderson still be sacked along with the other coaches, conditioners, CEO, etc?
I don't want this to become another tit for tat , just want to know if people who were so desperate for PA to be shown the door still feel the same or whether you stick to what was obvious a few weeks back?
yes we are still in a poor position in the league, but we have played well now for 4/5 games, whose fault is this?
I'm sure most of us agree that it's still a great feeling to beat Leeds!!'"
There needs to be significant changes in the way the club is run.
There needs to be significant changes in the mentality of the club.
There have been a number of on and off field decisions in recent years which range from poor to mind-bogglingly appalling.
There seems to be no accountability at the club.
Someone is responsible for us choking in the playoffs, someone is accountable for some hideous recruitment and retention decisions in recent years.
Someone is responsible for the Mason saga. Someone is responsible for the toe-curling sub-PMRC moral righteousnousness of the clubs statement in the wake of that verdict.
Someone is responsible for the club not kicking on affter the LLS win. Someone is responsible for the falling attendances.
Someone is responsible for the club keeping at least 3 players during the offseason who have subsequently left the club part way through the following season when all three could have left and been replaced.
There is no vision at the club, no ambition, no drive or at least that is the perception.
There are issues ingrained in the fabric of the club that should be obvious to anyone with two eyes. Treating 3 wins as a sign that all is well is as puerile as treating 3 losses as a sign of the apocalypse.
People do support the club, most people on here have supported it for a long time. They care about it. That's why they want changes.
There seems to be a mentality that cos we were poor 30 years ago we have to treat any small success as a major triumph. We have been a top 5 side for too long to hide behind our past any more. Beating Leeds should be routine, not an amazing thing or we're back in the land of issuing a cheap looking t-shirt cos we managed to beat Bradford again. It's no better or worse than any other team. Had we beaten London Skolars last night we would be in the same position we are now.
If not we may as well drop to the Championships and be a big fish in a little pond.
